The wedding is Formal. Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire in which they feel most comfortable. Men are expected to wear suits, while women may choose floor-length evening gowns, ballgowns, or formal cocktail dresses. The ceremony will take place at Dunes West. Out of respect for the venue, please dress modestly. Due to the expected drop in temperature as the sun sets, we recommend that guests bring a shawl or coat for comfort. In a lighthearted spirit, we kindly discourage ladies from wearing the following: White – unless you are marrying the groom. Bright Red – unless you have a particularly bold connection to the groom. Black – unless you are playfully mourning the bride and groom’s union. We also jokingly remind men that while the attire is Formal, all colors and styles of ties are welcome to complement your suit.
