We are having an "unplugged" ceremony! This means keep all phones and cameras in your pockets or purses during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer that will be capturing our best moments, and we will share them with you all after the wedding!
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Unfortunately, if your invite does not specify a plus one, extra guests will not be allowed. Those who bring an extra guest will be asked to have their guest leave as we will not be able to accommodate them.
WILL THERE BE A BAR?
Yes, there will be a bar but we will only be serving champagne, red and white wine, and jack and coke. IT IS NOT BYOB!
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The dress code is semi-formal to formal. While we understand it may be hot, we ask that male guests do try to wear dress pants and a dress shirt and female guests wear mid-length or floor length dresses or jump suits. Please do not wear shorts or tank tops. WE ASK THAT ALL GUESTS AVOID WEARING WHITE!
IS THE CEREMONY OUTSIDE?
The ceremony will be outside and we will provide fans since we know it will be hot. And we do have a plan if rain does occur but please check the weather leading up to the wedding and bring an umbrella.
WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
After the ceremony ends, we encourage all guests to head inside and get a drink from the bar, look around and mingle with other guests while waiting for the wedding party to come back.
WILL THERE BE A SEATING CHART?
Nope! Although we do encourage our guests to sit and mingle with people they may not know! There will be reserved seating for the wedding party though!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We ask that guests arrive between 2:00pm and 2:20pm, the ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM. If you show up late you will be asked to stand in the back so you are not distracting the other guests.
SHOULD I BRING A GIFT?
We will not have a registry because we are asking all guests to help with our honeymoon fund. If you wish to bring a gift, we will still appreciate it but we would prefer experiences over physical items.
WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?
You can wear heels, flats, even dressy sandals. But if you choose to wear heels… It is recommended to bring a pair of flats or sandals to change into because the dance floor is cobblestone.
