Our Wedding

Tori and Zach met through the dating app Hinge in the summer of 2024. Tori was studying and getting ready to take the bar in Texas, and Zach had just completed his first year of law school. Their first date was on June 5, 2024 at Little Tokyo in Fondren, which led to an unexpected bowling match at Highball Lanes next door. It is important to note that Tori is NOT good at bowling (which she disclosed beforehand) but Zach still did not allow her to use bumpers.Even though he beat her by a landslide in bowling, Tori and Zach had an instant connection and there was never a moment of awkwardness between the two. At one point during the date Zach even started crying because he failed to pay attention to the amount of wasabi he had just ingested, but Tori just made a joke about it and they laughed it off. After the first date, the two saw each other just about every day for the rest of the summer. While Tori studied flashcards and worked hard, Zach cooked dinner and provided support for her. Zach learned that a Beignet is not only a fancy New Orleans dessert, but also the name of Tori's beloved fur-child. Tori and Beignet were a package deal and Beignet happily accepted Zach into the pack. By the way he acts now, most would assume that Beignet was Zach's dog, not Tori's. Very quickly, they knew they made an unbeatable team and shared interests in good food, humor, adventures, and life goals. It was obvious to both of them they had found their counterpart and life teammate. Tori moved to Houston at the end of the summer, but the distance didn't stand a chance against the two. Before they knew it six months had gone by and Tori and Zach's relationship had only continued to get stronger. They knew they could depend on one another and that they were both in it for the long haul. Before they knew it, a year had gone by. On July 19, 2025, Zach "took Tori fishing" and proposed to Tori at the waterfront in Mississippi. Zach coordinated with Tori's family and friends to pull off the best surprise engagement and celebration afterwards. Several of Tori's close friends (and bridesmaids!) made the trip to Jackson to help Zach pull the surprise off and celebrate with the couple after.

Our Story

Tori and Anna met during their freshman year at Millsaps. From pledging the same sorority to late night chats and Whataburger runs, Anna has been one of Tori's biggest supporters from the beginning! They’ve always been there for each other through all of life’s ups and downs, no matter the distance.

Simi and Tori met at NYU during their Tax LLM orientation. Tori and Simi have both said the minute they saw the other, they knew they had to be friends. But neither of them could have imagined how close they would become so quickly. They spent almost every day on Simi's couch watching TV or their online classes. Tori still says she wouldn't have survived NYC without Simi.

Jen is Zach’s oldest sister. Tori and Jen have a shared love of animals, Stanley cups, and getting on Zach's nerves. From the moment Tori and Zach started dating, Jen has welcomed Tori with open arms!

Lauren and Tori met in the fall of 2014 during Tori’s freshman year. Lauren was Tori’s adopted big and was one of the reasons Tori pledged Phi Mu! Lauren helped guide Tori through college and they were inseparable while at Millsaps.

Sara and Tori met through a mutual friend when Tori first moved to New Orleans. They realized they were both from MS and were sorority sisters. They clicked instantly and have been friends ever since. Sara has been one of Tori’s biggest cheerleaders from the day they met!

Tori met Paige on Sara’s bachelorette trip. Paige is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people Tori has ever met. Paige always checks in on Tori and randomly sends her happies that somehow always come when Tori needs it the most. Sara, Tori, and Paige take a girls trip every year and always pick up right where they left off! 

Paige Wentz

Tori and MK met when MK was going through rush during her freshman year. They also worked as presidential ambassadors together and MK was Tori’s RA during her last year at Millsaps. Tori likes to say she played a ~crucial~ role in setting up MK and her husband, Tyler! 

Mary Katherine Hays 

Claire and Tori met during their 1L year at Tulane. They were instant friends and decided to live together during their 2L year. They had the best time together and bonded through the trauma of law school. 

Claire DiMaria 

Caroline and Tori met during their 1L year at Tulane but became close during their 2L year. By their 3L year they were inseparable. Tori and Caroline moved into the same apartment building for their 3L year and spent every day together! They helped each other through the process of applying to Tax LLM programs and are now both Tax attorneys.

Caroline Cruse

Tori and Kellie met at Tulane Law School during their 1L year. They both accepted internships in Houston after their 2L year and decided to live together. From having movie nights to going to get sushi together, Kellie has kept Tori sane while they’ve been in Houston!

Kellie O’Quin

Hannah and Tori met through a mutual friend at Millsaps. While they were friends at Millsaps, they grew much closer following college. Hannah and Tori have always supported each other through whatever has come their way! 

Hannah Menzik

Jerome and Zach met their freshman year at ASU and were in the same pledge class in Delta Tau Delta. The two quickly became close through their shared interests in the fraternity, golfing, and playing Chel' nightly in their apartment. 

Ask him about the infamous "hedgehog" incident.  

Jerome Bauersfeld

Kyle and Zach met at ASU, were in the same fraternity, and have been close ever since. Kyle is one of the funniest, loyal, and good-hearted people in existence.

Max is Tori's twin brother. Zach and Max quickly became friends and realized they had a lot in common, including a shared love of sports. Max and Tori have always shared a special bond as twins and Tori couldn’t imagine her life without Max. 

Max Harrigill

Gunnar is Zach's oldest nephew. Gunnar was the closest thing Zach had to a little brother growing up, and followed Zach's lead everywhere they went. As they've grown up with each other their bond continues to grow stronger.

Zach and Zach met at Arizona State freshman year. Both Zach's became friends quickly because of their interests in hunting, their great name, and abilities to have a fun time.

Mike and Zach met their freshman year at Arizona State.  Mike has remained a close friend over the years, and is another core part to the Arizona group. There is never a dull moment when Mike and Zach are together. 

Michael Licari

Cody and Zach were roommates their freshman and sophomore years at Arizona State. The two also had the pleasure of being in the same pledge class in Delta Tau Delta fraternity. 

Cody Conklin

Matthew and Zach were the only two guys from New England in the dorms their freshman year at Arizona State. Naturally, the two were bonded and enjoyed great times through college and in post-grad life. 

Matthew Flynn

Justin and Tori met during Justin's freshman year at Millsaps. They clicked instantly and have been close ever since. Justin actually helped Tori get ready for her first date with Zach and calmed her down. Zach and Justin were fast friends too and are now in law school together!

Jeff and Zach quickly became good friends while working patrol at the Sheriff's Office and training K-9's together. The two have good memories ranging from Christmas parties to Ice fishing.

Maxx is Zach's youngest nephew and like Gunnar, has been like having a little brother for Zach.

Suri is the youngest member of the Cousins' Group. Tori loves going to Suri’s cheer competitions and running around after her. Suri loves to perform and show off her tumbling and cheer skills. Zach and Tori have enjoyed taking the cousins out for cousins nights and fun adventures!

Asha is a proud member of the Cousins' Group. She is the oldest of the “young ones” barely beating out her twin sister, Priya, for the title. Tori has had the pleasure of taking the cousins out for wild adventures to Krispy Kreme, Taco Bell, and even to get Boba. Asha and Priya invited Zach to join the Cousins' Group and the rest was history. Zach has loved tagging along and making memories with the group!

Priya is also a proud member of the Cousins' Group. Priya is also *technically* the oldest of the “young ones” but is the younger twin, just like Tori. After Zach was invited into the Cousins' Group, Priya was tasked with getting Zach a gift for the Cousins’ Secret Santa. She did such a good job picking her gift that Zach still frequently wears the shirts Priya got him.

Emerie is also a proud member of the Cousins' Group. Emerie has visited Tori in every city she has lived in for an annual girls’ trip! They have been on several fun adventures like going to an all pink brunch, an Astros game, the American Doll store, and even going to Taylor Swift's favorite Italian restaurant in NYC.

Sonu is the final member of the Cousins' Group. Tori has been able to watch Sonu grow into the amazing young man he is today. Sonu, Tori, and Zach all share a love for sushi and trying new foods. Zach and Tori are so excited to have Sonu be such an important part of their special day!

For Tori and Zach’s Mehndi and for the Indian Wedding Ceremony, guests can choose to wear Indian formal attire. For the Mehndi we ask that guests wear Mardi Gras colors! Types of Indian Outfits: Options to look at would be Lehngas, Sarees, Salwar Kameez, Anarkali, and Shararas! Most of these options will come with a dupatta. Dupatta is the word for a scarf or drape. Traditionally Indian women always pair their outfit with a dupatta. Lehngas are a skirt and top set with a dupatta. Sarees are a top with a skirt style drape. Traditionally a saree is beautifully pleated and draped.If you do not know how to drape a saree but would like to wear one, make sure to look at “pre draped” sarees. These are easier to wear! Salwar kameez, Anarkali, and Shararas are different styles of top and pant sets.
