Our Story

Our Story

We met in June 2021 when Logan moved to Appleton, WI (Tori's hometown) to pursue a master's degree.

We became friends after a night of volleyball when a group of young adults went to Chick-fil-A for food. We hit it off quickly and started to hang out often with our friend group. Whether it was playing volleyball on Monday nights, going to Alliance Church's young adult ministry, or having game nights with friends, we always enjoyed each others company.

In December 2021, Logan surprised Tori with some "Secret Santa" gifts on her desk. The sweet and thoughtful gesture was Logan shooting his shot, and Tori completely unsuspecting they were anything more than friends. Tori was appreciative of the gifts, but the timing wasn't right, so Tori shot him down. Well, Logan accepted that answer as humbly as he could and did not pursue Tori any longer, but they still remained good friends and continued to do a lot together.

Winter and spring came and went, all along they were friends. Then, in the summer of 2022, Tori's feelings for Logan started to grow. Tori and Logan started to talk more than usual. Finally, on September 9th, Tori asked Logan to play tennis with her. It was their first "official" date. Two weeks later, Logan asked Tori to be his girlfriend.

Since that day, we have had a lot of adventures together. We each supported the other in running a half marathon, played in (and won!) a volleyball tournament, traveled across the Midwest to visit family and friends, and Logan graduated with his Master's. There have been few dull moments and lots of cherished memories made.

On March 26th, Logan got down on one knee and asked Tori to spend the rest of her life with him...she said yes. We have been overwhelmingly blessed by the support of family and friends during this exciting season of our lives. We know that God has made our story unique and continues to orchestrate every detail. Without the love and grace of Jesus Christ in our lives, we would not be where we are today. We cannot wait to continue making many memories together.
