Tori and Greg met at a mutual friends house at Western Michigan University in 2013. Although the story of their first meeting has been disputed over the years, it was definitely a life changing moment for both of them. Following their first interaction, they began to talk often despite being at two different schools. Their first official date seemed absolutely perfect as they went to watch their colleges, U of M and WMU face off at a hockey game set up outdoors at Tigers Stadium over winter break. Making their relationship official on January 4th, they began a ten year journey that leads us to celebrating their wedding!

Together they navigated years of a long distance relationship, beginning in Michigan as they attended different colleges, along to Wisconsin as Greg moved to Madison for work and finally across the world as Tori moved to New Zealand to complete her student teaching.

After four years of dating, they moved into their first apartment together in Madison, Wisconsin as Tori began her teaching career and Greg continued his work at EPIC. They spent the next five years living in Madison accomplishing many firsts as a couple. First time living together, first international trip (x2), first dog, Kane, first worldwide pandemic and many more. Their love and support of each others goals and aspirations allowed them to grow individually and as a couple and move toward their next journey together.

In the fall of 2022, they made the cross country move to Jacksonville, Florida, finally living somewhere where they could enjoy warmth year round, (aka golf year round), being right near the ocean and the ability to travel and explore new parts of the country. Shortly after their arrival, Greg proposed to Tori on their favorite beach and the timing was perfect as they had built the foundation for their future together and were ready for the next big thing!

After their destination marriage in Mexico, they are beyond excited to celebrate in Michigan with their family and friends!
