If you are flying, here are a few options for airports to fly into:
Brunswick Airport (BQK) - 15 min from the island
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) - 1 hour 20 minutes from the island
Savannah/ Hilton Head Airport (SAV) - 1 hour 45 minutes from the island

If you need transportation to and from any of the above airports, we recommend Edward Transportation and Island Transport and Taxi.

The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort
We have a room block at the venue! Enjoy all the resort amenities such as private beach access, resort pool, oceanfront restaurant, priority tee times with transportation to the golf course, and more with your stay.
Room block code is 7150754. Rates will close on 3/31/2024.

Majority of the room block is held from Friday-Sunday, but there are a few Thursday night rooms for those wishing to extend their stay.
If you have a party of 4-6 and are interested in an on-property villa, we recommend booking the privately owned villas in the VRBO link a few sections below vs. the block link for the best rates.
Vacation Rentals
There are many vacation rentals on the island as an option for lodging! We recommend finding an option walking distance from the King and Prince to make transport safe and easy.
Lighthouse Vacations
Our favorite resource for finding a rental property the shortest walk from the venue is through our friends on the island, Jennifer and Mike Banker. They own Lighthouse Vacations and would be happy to assist you in finding the perfect rental for your group!
Contact them using the number above or the form on their website below. Tell them you are in town for our wedding weekend at the King and Prince and that you would like to rent a property as close to the venue as possible.
AIRBNB
If Airbnb is more your style, we have compiled a few properties that are a close walk from the venue HERE. We recommend booking quickly if you see something you like, as properties fill up as we near the summer season!
VRBO
We have also compiled a list of walking distance VRBO properties HERE.
Along with regular rentals, VRBO has a couple of villas that are on-property at the King & Prince, but they are privately owned which makes them a less expensive rate than the villas on the room block link. If you have a party of 4-6 and are wanting to stay at the venue, we would recommend booking through VRBO for a better rate.

Village Inn And Pub
Located about 1 mile from the venue, the Village Inn and Pub is a boutique hotel located in the heart of St. Simons Island village. Enjoy being walking distance to the some of the island's quintessential shops and restaurants.
Getting around the island
GOLF CART RENTALS
It’s not necessary, but renting a golf cart is a fun way to get around and see St. Simons.
We suggest reserving ahead of time from Coast To Coast Rentals if you are interested.
BIKE RENTALS
Biking around the island is one of our favorite activities and a great way to explore! You can rent bikes from Island Bicycle.
RIDESHARE
Ubers and Lyfts are limited on the island. If you plan on calling one to get to and from the wedding or other events, schedule your ride ahead of time or allow 20-30 minutes for pickup as most drivers will will drive in from Brunswick. We recommend staying at the venue or as close to it as possible to make transport safe and easy for wedding events.
Additionally, we recommend these two taxi services on the island if you wish to schedule your rides ahead of time through a local service: Edward Transportation and Island Transport and Taxi.
