Tori and Ronnie's story starts the way all the great modern love stories start: online. Tori's friend, Callie, gets credit for talking her into getting back online and creating her profile with her. Ronnie was about ready to give up on the dating app altogether. The two matched on June 6ish, 2023 and hit it off immediately. Their first date was on June 11 and was 7 hours long. The two met at Tia Maria's Mexican restaurant (a Costello family favorite) where they talked more than ate. After lunch, they weren't ready to go home, but after the margaritas, they didn't want to go to Karbach, as was Ronnie's original plan, so they decided to go to Barnes & Noble. Honestly, this was the perfect first date activity to impress Tori. Ronnie even purchased a massive Lord of the Rings book, that will probably never get read by either of them, but at least it holds the memory on their bookshelf. After the bookstore, they went to a very empty Little Woodrow's to keep talking. It was perfect and the rest was history.
