Our Story
We met our Freshman year at GCU at a movie night Nathan and his roommates hosted in their dorm and were good friends for a year before we started dating.
The day we starting dating
In January 2022, after being good friends for a year, we decided to start dating! This photo was taken at a movie night that Nathan hosted where we watched Chicken Little.
Our first date
Our first date was to dinner and a glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course!
We dated for a few months, and in March 2022, Nathan asked me to officially be his girlfriend!
Grand Canyon sunrise trip
That spring we went on many adventures, from 2 am trips to the Grand Canyon for sunrise to traveling to California for Easter. Once the school year ended, it was time to leave for the summer where we did long distance.
Our first sailing trip together
Nathan traveled to Maine to visit over the summer and we went on an overnight cruise to the Casco Bay islands.

Summer 2023
Another long-distance summer. Nathan picked up golf again not knowing it would become our favorite activity to do together.
Lots and lots of golf
Back together for our senior year, Nathan introduced me to his love of golf and we ended up playing many rounds together.
The engagement!
Realizing how much we loved to golf together, Nathan decided that was how he wanted to propose! He ordered custom golf balls that said "Will you marry me?" on them and popped the question on November 20th, 2023 at the 18th hole of the GCU golf course!
