Chris and Tori’s love story began like any other modern-day fairy tale ❤️

First, with a fateful swipe on Tinder.

Then, a few months of casual (okay, not-so-casual) mutual Instagram stalking.

And finally, a Rose on Hinge.

When Chris picked Tori up for their first date on June 14th, 2023, he was greeted by Tori's father (Jim) who had suddenly decided to stop by - table saw in hand - to help fix who-knows-what (to this day she doesn't know what it was and has never bothered to ask). Confused if he was at the right house, Chris walked towards the door to ask the strange man if Tori was home. Tori flew out the house, quickly introduced Chris to her father, and the pair headed off on their first date to the Golf Dome!

As soon as Tori hopped in the car, she could tell that Chris was nervous. His voice was shaky (which was surprising because he was SO handsome). He missed the turn to the golf dome NUMEROUS times (3 loops around the block, in fact). And, distracted by her beauty, he got a $227.70 speeding ticket driving down Grant. He blames the nerves on just how beautiful this internet-girl was in real life.

He didn't know it yet, but Tori was already proving to be a very expensive date (and worth every penny)!

After a quick round of mini golf, Tori and Chris weren't ready for the night to end and decided to grab drinks at The Roost on Corydon. It quickly became the best date either of them had been on, talking all night long at the bar top - only leaving when the restaurant kicked them out at closing time - on a Wednesday night, no less!

In the two weeks that followed, they squeezed in dates 2, 3, 4, and 5: dinners, picnics, concerts, and a spontaneous Canada Day “fireworks show” that turned out to be drones flying in confusing patterns—without music or sound effects to liven the atmosphere. It was perfect.

Tori was self-admittedly obsessed after date one. Chris was already head-over-heels in love. Since then, our calendars have stayed packed with date nights and upcoming travel plans, our evenings filled with laughter (and a few cuddles), and our story continues to unfold like the fairy tale it is.

Now, we have a new date to look forward to—December 4th, 2026. The day we'll finally say “I do” and begin the next chapter of our forever. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
