Their story began at California State University East Bay in the Fall of 2011. They were both 18 and just starting their lives as young adults.

They lived across the hall from one another and quickly hit it off. From exploring the campus at midnight to realizing that they both had similar tastes in music, art, and the world around them. Ivan learned that he was more than just interested in Tourie and she felt the same.

In November of 2011, they officially became 'Ivan and Tourie' and the rest was history!
