For those of you who don’t know the full story, we had both been going to the same junior national shows for years, but somehow never knew each other. The first time we met was at the backdrop of the Geneva Jackpot in 2022. (It went well & he unintentionally earned brownie pts in advance that day with Danielle).
Next March at the Midwest Connection sale in York, Trace was just dropping off a pig from his online sale and we ran into each other & chatted in a small group for a bit.
A few days later before the first Kaliff Showpigs online sale Trace texted, “hey this is trace Mulligan, 6-8 a good one for Kansas state fair?” 
Honestly, it was a bit surprising that he didn't text Linden instead & certainly a smart move texting about pigs as an “in”! Come next sale he ended up getting two pigs for Kansas families so of course he asked for two dates:) 
Flash forward, our first date was to a jackpot show in Alma, KS... It went well and the rest is history! Thankful for all the little things God had fall into place to make us happen!
