And what a story it is.

This is a story about 2 people who have been best friends for 20 years- have known and cared about each other from the start. And if you have ever spent any time around these two, its pretty obvious, they are a match made in heaven.

To tell the story, lets start from the beginning....

Tracey and Tim met in late 1999 when Tracey became his personal trainer and nutritionist, making him meals because he wasn’t much for cooking for himself. They quickly became important parts of each others' lives.

Several years later, they started dating. Tim invited her to Havasu in his motorhome. They had a memorable weekend, culminating in Tracey whipping up several messy meals, much to Tims' private horror as he watched the massive mess she made inside the Country Coach.

Shortly after Tim purchased the Havasu condo, they decided they would become a couple. There were countless trips, adventures, and stories from those days- many beautiful sunsets from the Havasu balcony, Tim teaching Tracey to park the boat trailer "deep and wide", midnight boat dips, dinners at ChaBones and times with all their dear river friends.

Hence, why to this day, it is one of Traceys' favorite places in the world to spend time, and why Tim is never allowed to sell the condo (sorry Paul!!)

For 7 years, they had a great life with a beautiful home in Redlands, adventures to Lake Havasu, all the dogs, Tim's growing car collection and Tracey's competitive endeavors, cooking escapades and many Christmas parties.

Even after Tim and Tracey had parted "official" ways, they had always remained friends. Tracey and Tim continued to stay in touch, they cared about what each other was doing and it was obvious that somehow, they would stay connected in a friendship capacity.

In 2019, when Tim came down with covid, Tracey realized that there was a lot more than friendship between them. She would sneak into his house and check that he was ok during his sickness and she realized that after all these years, she was still in love with him.

Fast forward to 2023, they found themselves both single and spending time together. Tim would consult her on his design choices on his new home and they both decided to get back on their bicycles to get in shape and rehab Tracey's new ACL.

The love that was always there was re ignited. This time both Tracey and Tim realized was meant to be forever.

Then on Dec. 3rd, and at his 65th birthday celebration, Tim surprised everyone and got down on one knee and proposed.
