Visit Klima and more Fishing Villages

Picture of Visit Klima and more Fishing Villages

Klima: Picture- perfect fishing village that sits remotely on the coast only minutes from Plaka. Instantly recognizable by its long row of whitewashed buildings, all with cheerfully colored boat garages called syrmata . Can you guess why each syrmata is painted a different color? First correct guess wins a special surprise!

Nowadays, many have been converted into stylish stand- alone suites - private lodging.
Sounds like a sweet romantic getaway to us! Hmmm...

Mandrakia; The most beautfiul traditional fishing village in Milos. A sleepy fishing village built around a tiny circular harbor with colorful boat garages built into the sides of cliffs A tiny church Zoodokos Pighi overlooks the village, and the restaurant Medusa, which is a must go to!

(A bit of a tourist magnet, but whenTracie was there this past late September...she almost had it to herself.)

However, it is filled with lively tavernas and cafes, shops, churches and two museums.
