Men: Lightweight slacks or chinos with a button-up shirt or a collared polo. Loafers, boat shoes, or dressy sandals are appropriate. ***If you are related to the bride or groom, please dress for posed family photos! 📸

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM, so please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to find parking and get a seat. It is our preference that everyone be seated by 5:30 PM! Thank you!

The ceremony is at The Moonlight Beach Overlook in Encinitas and the dinner reception is nearby at Herb & Sea. Herb & Sea is walking distance (.2 miles) or a short drive from the ceremony site.

Yes, there is parking at both venues! But keep in mind—it’s at the beach, so parking can be a bit of a challenge. The good news? It’s not quite summer vacation season, so it should be manageable! For the ceremony, there’s a large parking lot at Moonlight Beach. For the reception at Herb & Sea, street parking is available nearby, but you may need to be a little skillful to snag a spot. We recommend giving yourself some extra time to park and enjoy the short walk to both venues! 🚗 🚶‍♂️

We are hosting a Reception Dinner at Herb & Sea on the 101 in Encinitas - the reception will start at 6:30 PM and should go until 10:30 PM.

😆 If you know the bride, you already know the answer to this one—of course, there will be dancing! We both love music, and it’s a huge part of our lives, especially since Jay is a “gigging” musician. It would be a travesty if there wasn’t music, and yes, there will definitely be dancing too! So get ready to hit the floor and show off those moves! 💃

Well, you know what they say: “It never rains in California!” And if it does, “April showers bring May flowers!” While we’re praying that God reigns sunshine and warmth on us for our wedding ceremony, we know we can’t control Him. But as they say, “The show must go on!” Herb & Sea’s Moonlight Deck is an outdoor space under a large tent so if it does rain, we’ll be shielded during the reception! If it looks like the weather might not cooperate, it’s a good idea to bring an umbrella and a wrap or jacket—just in case. Rain or shine, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🌦️
