Some love stories start with fate, but ours began with a basketball game. Traiana attended games at Revere High School to cheer for her brother, Joe, who played varsity basketball alongside Kyle. She may have been there for Joe, but it was Kyle she couldn’t stop talking about, often telling her mom how cute she thought he was.

Fast forward a couple of years, and fate gave us a second chance. In September of 2017, Traiana’s friends convinced her to go to a party in college, and there was Kyle. That night, we spent hours getting to know each other, and something just clicked. By November, we were officially dating.

Though we attended rival high schools (Revere vs. Copley) and rival colleges (Kyle at Kent State and Traiana at the University of Akron), it turns out opposites really do attract. We truly do complement each other in all the best ways.

From college to career moves, we’ve built a life filled with shared growth and big dreams. In 2022, we moved to Columbus for Kyle's job. Then, in August 2024, we took the leap to Manhattan when Traiana was accepted at New York University's Stern School of Business, where she is pursuing her MBA.

We’ve weathered life’s ups and downs, from the chaos of the pandemic to cross-state moves, always bringing out the best in each other. Now, we’re thrilled to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
