Q + A

Q. What is the couple's mailing address:

A. Hannah Meyer and Travis Ervick

904 Colorado Blvd Box 501

Idaho Springs, CO 80452

Q. What airport should I fly into?

A. Denver International Airport?

Q. Do you recommend renting a car?

A. Yes if possible. You can easily catch a ride from the airport to where you are staying usually though. If your hotel or accommodations are in a more mountain-y area and you plan on relying on ubers, we recommend on scheduling them in advance for your ride back to the airport.

Q. What is the name of the wedding venue?

A. The Dunafon Castle in Idledale, Colorado (in between Morrison and Evergreen)

Q. What is the altitude of the venue (Dunafon Castle)

A. The castle sits right below 7,000 feet.

Q. How can altitude affect me?

A. Altitude can have a stronger affect on older or health-compromised individuals. If this is the case for you, you may want to consider flying in a few days early and staying at lower altitude to acclimate a bit first! Downtown Golden or Denver for a few days would both be great options! Also be more careful when consuming alcohol as it affects you faster at altitude and can sneak up quickly! Be sure to eat enough food and drink lots of water.

Q. Will there be parking at the venue?

A. Yes but we encourage people to carpool if possible. The parking is a free valet service when you pull up. We believe tips are still accepted/encouraged.

Q. What is the Dress Code?

A. Dressy casual to semi-formal.

Q. Can I get a Lyft or Uber there?

A. It depends where you leave from! If you are staying in a main area of towns like Golden, Lakewood, or even parts of Evergreen, you should be able to catch an Uber there. The problem will be with getting an Uber back at the end of the night, as the venue is somewhat remote and there most likely won't be a lot of drivers nearby. We recommend scheduling an uber for pick up in advance or hiring a local shuttle service with a group of friends.
