San Francisco is just an hour and a half North of Santa Cruz, CA. Take a day trip up the beautiful coast to visit San Francisco where there is Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, drive down the famous Lombard Street and ride Cable Cars.

Head to Roaring Camp to catch the train through the Redwood forest or down to the beach in Santa Cruz!

Check out the Surfing Museum in the Lighthouse! You can also watch surfers from the cliffs at the lighthouse.

Walk along West Cliff Drive to enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and beautiful sunsets. There is access along West Cliff to a few beaches and tide pools.

The world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is less than an hour down the coast from Santa Cruz on the famous Cannery Row in Monterey.
