Our Wedding

Our story began long before either of us realized it. I first noticed Trent in his teenage years, a determined triathlete with an impressive collection of race wins under his belt. There was something captivating about his drive and that unmistakable, radiant smile—the kind that’s impossible to forget. But, as life often goes, I admired from afar, never going to approach him. Fast forward seven years, fate had other plans. At a lively house party, amidst the chatter and music, I spotted that same unforgettable smile from across the room. It was like no time had passed. As I made my way towards him, completely unaware that Trent was spiraling into his own hilarious dilemma.&nbsp; From Trent's perspective: "Despite being a little cross-eyed—okay, maybe more than a little, thanks to one too many drinks—I felt like I'd been hit by a train when this gorgeous foreign woman walked into the party. There was this nagging feeling, like I'd seen her before, but my mind was a complete blank. And then it hit me: How do I impress her? Oh no... she's sober. Definitely sober." As I approached, the conversation unfolded like a scene from a romantic comedy. "Hey, long time no see—funny running into you here," I greeted, trying to sound casual. Trent, ever the charmer but not wanting to seem too keen, replied, "I could tell you that you’re the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever met and that I love you, but I don’t want to seem too keen, so I won’t." "Uhm... okay... well, talk later," I said, slightly amused and a little confused. Trying to recover, Trent asked, "What can I get you to drink?" "Nothing, thanks. I’m sober tonight." And just like that, Trent disappeared—for a solid fifteen minutes. Little did I know, during that time, he was waging war with the fridge and somehow ended up on the roof of the house. But then, as if on cue, he reappeared, holding a champagne glass filled with water.With that unforgettable smile, he handed it to me and said, "I thought you’d appreciate water in a champagne glass because, you know, you look like a classy woman." In that moment, I knew this would either end in the most painful breakup or lead to something extraordinary. For Trent, well, he knew his head would be very sore when he woke up—if this wasn’t all just a dream. And here we are, proving that sometimes the best stories are the ones you never see coming.

She’s been on a (so far unsuccessful) mission to get the bride into Pilates, but what she has accomplished is far more impressive: turning Irena into a full-blown bookworm. Together, they formed an exclusive two-person book club and have been undefeated in their reading goals — and their sass. With Liv around, there’s guaranteed laughter, loyalty, and probably a new book recommendation (or five).

A true Pilates-and-latte kind of queen, she’s got that effortless city chic energy and brainpower to match. Whether she’s doing market strategies or curating her next weekend brunch spot, Amelia is the definition of grace, grit, and glow. Simply put she’s a total catch, and I am lucky to have her on my dream team.

GROOM'S PARTY

From chasing cars to repairing elevators (IYKYK), Angus has been there since day one. The stand-in boyfriend when Trent would rather hit the gym than sit through the Barbie movie or stroll through the French markets with Irena. He’s the one who never asked questions, just showed up — whether it was to cook the BBQ on Irena's bday, rescue a broken-down car, or get you out of a speeding ticket (said no one ever). Trent knows that no matter how big or small the task, Angus will always have his back — with a toolkit, a protein shake, and a wildly unnecessary side mission. He’s the King of the Motorway, lord of the side quests, and an all-round legend who defines what it means to be a best mate.

Cold-blooded murder? No, Onkar didn’t see a thing. The perfect alibi. A brother born not of blood, but of loyalty — the kind that runs deeper than DNA. Onkar has been by Trent’s side through the thick, the thin, and the legally questionable. He’s also the reason Irena and Trent reunited after years apart — because it was at his house party where sparks (and possibly vodka) flew again. So technically, if this wedding goes down in history as the best ever... Onkar deserves at least 12% of the credit. And if anything ever goes down again? Well, you already know — he didn’t see a thing.

Dumb and Dumber — but in the most loyal, hilarious, ride-or-die kind of way. No one actually knows whose idea it was, but if it’s questionable, competitive, or involves a sprint to prove a point, chances are it was Brad and Trent — together. A bromance built off racing each other in everything. The kind of friendship where logic takes a back seat, but fun rides shotgun. If you see these two deep in discussion, just know — someone’s about to do something they probably shouldn’t... but will absolutely laugh about later.

A brother from another mother… oh wait — no, that’s the other brother. Curtis is the guy who taught Trent how to be brave — mostly by standing close enough that Trent knew if he failed, Curtis would either help fix it or at least distract everyone while Trent escaped. A true brother with a heart of gold and the ability to make any situation 10% more chaotic and 100% more fun. And while Andrew Tate may have his brother Tristan… Trent’s got Curtis — less sportscars, more mischief, and a much better Spotify playlist.
