And they were roommates...OMG THEY WERE ROOMMATES !?!

Trenton and Eileen first met at a party on New Years Eve back in 2017. One of their first memories together is Eileen falling asleep on a couch (before midnight) and Trenton proceeded to help build a pillow fort around this girl that he had just met. Eileen woke up and "literally thought she was blind", because the pillow fort was a solid unit and there was only one sliver of light to offer a beacon of hope. She broke through the fort and the first thing she sees is a (rough looking, questioning life choices) Trenton draped across a chair, while someone was vomiting in the sink behind him. (SO ROMANTIC ) Anyway, the universe works in strange ways. Blah Blah Blah. Soon, they discovered that Eileen was one of the vet techs that had taken care of Trenton's family's dog a few weeks prior to the party. Eileen actually met her future mother, brother and sister - in laws while their dog was hospitalized before she met her future husband. Through mutual friends, they eventually crossed paths again. Along with a couple of friends, they ended up moving into a townhome together as roommates. Years passed, their lives progressed and changed and gradually the bond between them grew. Trenton and Eileen grew into true friends, always checking in on one another. With both of them being guilty of working too much and thus eating out too much, sometimes, this meant saving a little extra of whatever the other would cook. A small gesture that would eventually hold a deeper meaning. After some time, Eileen moved out on her own in the fall of 2020. When Trenton first came to visit her new apartment, he gifted her a set of food storage containers. He stated that owned the same set and purchased her set with the intention of sharing meals and continuing their tradition, despite no longer being roommates. Trenton learned that Eileen doesn't know how to hold a knife or wash a cast iron pan. Eileen learned that Trenton is very particular on order of operations and hates the dishwasher for some reason. Despite some bumps in the road, they did learn how to work together and eventually, their weekly cooking dates became something to look forward to. After many dinners and trading of containers, they acknowledged simply that they missed the other much more and differently than anticipated. At some point, they fell in love in a tiny apartment kitchen over home cooked food, Tupperware and burnt coffee. And thus, began the next step in their journey together. A year later, they became roommates once again. Since, they have had many adventures and challenges together, while also being the other’s #1 supporter. Through the ups and downs, they have continued to learn how to navigate life together while also enjoying it. This is just the start of the next act in their story. Here is to the beginning chapter of their next adventure.
