Michelle Deatherage - Bride
I'd describe myself as an extroverted introvert, tattoo enthusiast, music junkie, horror lover, and proud fangirl. Always goofy but deeply passionate, and forever trying to balance my love of reading with my ever-growing TBR pile. I have been blessed with the world's greatest friends, who encourage me, support me, and have shaped me into who I am today. These bridesmaids each represent a different facet of my life - from the best friend I met nearly two decades ago at a music festival to the friends who stand by me in court each day and the friends I've made on the softball field. Trevor is my soulmate, my soft place to land, and my home. Honestly, I'd marry this guy a thousand times over if I could, and I'd pick these girls to be by my side each and every time.
Trevor Deatherage - Groom
I’ve always been about chasing what I love—whether that’s carving corners on a motorcycle or getting lost in a video game. I grew up surrounded by incredible people, and I’ve been lucky enough to build friendships that feel more like family—guys I’ve played ball with, wrestled between games, and traded life advice with during long drives or late nights.
These groomsmen represent different parts of my journey, and I couldn’t imagine this day without them. From Viper tattoos to softball tournaments and backyard basketball games, we’ve been through it all. Now, I get to marry the love of my life, and I’m stepping into this next chapter surrounded by the same energy and loyalty that’s gotten me this far.
Samantha Longley - Maid of Honor
Samantha and I met at a music festival, which pretty much set the tone for our entire friendship: loud, chaotic, and unforgettable. Since then, Samantha has been my best friend, my sister by choice, my co-conspirator, and the one person (besides Trevor) who's seen every version of me - crying, laughing, delusional, rage-texting - and never once flinched. She's my voice of reason when I have none, the first one to hype me up, and the last one to leave my side. She has stepped into the role of honorary auntie seamlessly and has helped me navigate each new chapter of my life with grace. If I ever commit a felony, she'll probably be sitting in the cell right beside me, talking about how much fun we had.
Tylor Deatherage - Best Man
Tylor is my brother, best friend, and hands down the smartest guy I know. Especially when it comes to numbers. Whether it’s math, finance, or anything that requires serious brainpower, he’s got it locked down. He’s the kind of person who actually enjoys solving problems most of us would rather avoid - and that's pretty sweet to have on my side. Outside of that though, we’re teammates on the softball field, Rocket League experts, total metalheads, and absolutely inseparable. Watching him become the best uncle to Mia has been awesome. Having Tylor as my best man means having family by my side, but also someone who always keeps things calculated and calm.
Megan Deatherage - Bridesmaid
Megan is my sister-in-law, but honestly, it feels more like I scored a bonus best friend. We hit it off instantly, thanks to our mutual love of animals, country music, and late-night Taco Bell cravings. She's the one I call for advice, hot gossip, or just to scream into the void with. We're both Taureses, so naturally, we've had some heading-butting moments. (Stubborn? Us? Never!) But no matter what, we always find our way back. She's the best auntie to Mia, my go-to for nail days and shopping sprees, and my sideline buddy at softball games. She's a great sister, low-key hilarious, and the kind of girl who is always there - with a Diet Coke in one hand and zero judgement in the other.
Lance Vey - Groomsman
Lance and I go way back—like, fourth-grade recess kind of back. He’s one of those rare friends who’s stuck around through everything, even when life took us to opposite sides of the country. I honestly don’t know how I would’ve made it through junior year without him—he kept me grounded, sane, and laughing even when things were hard. These days, he’s out there doing important work in the medical field, proving he’s not just a great friend, but a genuinely good human being. Even with the miles between us, we talk constantly (we've got a 1200 day Snapchat streak), and he’s still one of the most solid people in my life. I wouldn’t want to do this day without him standing by my side.
Jen Smith - Bridesmaid
Jen and I met during my training at the Public Defender's Office and I basically forced our friendship into existence by declaring, "we're gonna be friends!" Spoiler - I was 100% right! She is the smartest (like scary smart) and hardest working attorney I know. Really, DA's are scared of her. She is responsible for reigniting my love of books (ACOTAR girlies, unite), hardly ever gets it wrong, and truly the Wednesday to my Enid. Jen motivates me to be better, challenges me in all the right ways, and reminds me of my worth just by being in my corner. I always feel lucky to spend time with her, whether we're grabbing coffee or getting tattoos, because her presence makes everything feel more grounded, more fun, and just more me.
Nathan Younger - Groomsman
Nate and I met playing baseball as kids on a team called the Vipers, and somehow, that name stuck with us long enough to get it inked for life. Nate was family growing up. He lived just down the street, and our summers were basically a nonstop loop of basketball games and trash talk. We always had the best conversations on the basketball court. One memory that’ll never die: the time we were climbing his garage and he ended up slicing his hand open on the gutter. pure Nate energy. He’s the goofiest guy I know, always making people laugh without even trying, but he’s also one of the most loyal and genuine friends I’ve ever had. Couldn’t imagine this day without him.
Khaylia DeCaires - Bridesmaid
Khaylia and I first met in law school, and I'll be honest - I initially refused to be friends with her because she was just too cool. (Like, intimidatingly cool). But fate had other plans, and once we started working together, I realized we had way more in common that I thought. Khaylia is the total package - brilliant, hilarious, drop-dead gorgeous, and always ready to hype me up when I start second-guessing myself. She's my fellow foodie, my fashion icon, and my go-to for good music and even better vibes. Basically, she's in a league of her own - and I'm lucky to call her a friend.
Cody Dewald - Groomsman
Cody and I met through softball, but the connection ran deeper than just the game. He’s the one who introduced me to my wife—so I guess you could say I owe him everything. Beyond that, we’ve always been each other’s go-to ear to lend. Whether it was long talks during tournament drives or just catching up when life gets heavy, Cody’s always been someone I could count on. He’s loyal, steady, and one of the realest friends I’ve got. Having him as a groomsman is just one more chapter in a friendship I truly value.
Jenna McLemore - Bridesmaid
Jenna is that girl - my ride or die in every sense of the word. We met through softball, but it was a heated tournament (and a mutual readiness to throw hands over trash talk) that sealed our bond. Since then, she's been the one who never fails to show up - whether I'm dealing with a broken heart, navigating the struggles of postpartum, or just need someone to listen. Jenna is fiercely loyal, endlessly supportive, and the kind of friend you want in your corner when life gets messy. On top of that, she's a total powerhouse who built her business from the ground up. Watching her grow and blossom has been nothing short of an honor - and having her by my side means everything.
RJ Rodriguez - Groomsman
Cap... honestly, the name fits—RJ’s the guy you look to when you need leadership, loyalty, or just a solid life talk at 2 a.m. He always gives the best advice, even when you’re not ready to hear it, and somehow makes it sound like it came straight from a motivational podcast. One of my favorite memories? Belting out Creed together and forcing people to listen. RJ is also a conference softball player, which he’ll totally remind you of—right after stretching for 45 minutes and hitting lasers in BP. He’s wise, hilarious, and one of the most dependable people I know. I’m lucky to have called him my teammate.
Kristina Morsovillo - Bridesmaid
Trying to sum up Kristina in words feels impossible - she's a force of nature. She's strong, wildly talented, the best line dancer on the planet, and the kind of friend that shows up swinging if you need her to. She loves deeply and with her whole heart, tells it like it is (whether you want to hear it or not), and somehow manages to win every time we play slot machines - seriously, it's witchcraft. She's the only one who can match my volume at softball games, my energy on a night out, and my level of loyalty. She's fun, fiery, and has a heart of gold, and I am so lucky to have her in my corner.
Trace Everett - Groomsman
Trace and I met through softball, and I’ll be honest—before I knew him, I thought he was a total asshole. But then I actually got to know him, and it turns out he’s one of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever meet… as long as you’re not on the other team. On the field, Trace is an absolute DAWG—competitive, intense, and all heart. Off the field? He’s the guy who’d give you the shirt off his back. One of my favorite memories is us wrestling between games at a tournament—just pure chaos, sweat, and laughs. He’s been a solid friend ever since, and I’m pumped to have him standing with me on one of the biggest days of my life.
Easton Trett - Bridesmaid
The first time I met Easton, she proudly spit on her dry Darth Vader tattoo to show it off, and honestly, that's when I knew I'd found my soulmate. From that moment on, it was wifey status, best friend energy, and twin flame vibes for life. We bond over our love of books (yes, the spicy ones), Star Wars, and generally being the biggest goofballs in any room. Easton is never judgemental, the greatest listener, and has stood by me through every wild twist life has thrown. Whether I need to laugh, ugly cry, eat my body weight in ice cream, or all in the same hour, she's there. She's hilarious, wild, athletic, and somehow always makes me feel like I matter. She's the one, for real!
Eric Trett - Groomsman
I met Eric on our Challenge Cup softball team, and right away I knew he was a genuinely good dude—the kind of guy you trust instantly, both on and off the field. One of my favorite memories with him is just sitting in his truck between games, listening to Better Than Me by Hinder, cooling off and catching a break from the chaos. And then there was that unforgettable Airbnb tournament weekend—just two grown men, one tiny bed, and a room that felt like the inside of a furnace. Somehow we survived, and I walked away with a brother. Eric’s real, loyal, and one of the easiest people to be around. I’m proud to have him standing with me on this day.
Mia Deatherage - Flower Girl
Mia is our one-year-old daughter and the absolute light of our lives. She's loving, smart, sassy, and already full of personality - the definition of tiny but mighty! She loves Bluey, her furry best friend, Ellie, and going out to eat like the little foodie she is. She's a total cuddle bug, endlessly affectionate, and known in our house as our stinky girl (lovingly, of course, she smells incredible). Watching her grow has been our greatest joy, and we cannot wait to see her toddle down the aisle in her beautiful dress, stealing the show and all of our hearts!
Miranda Braña - Ring Bearer
Miranda is my youngest cousin and goddaughter, whom I’ve had the joy of knowing for her entire life. Being her godmother was the first time I realized how much I wanted to be a mom—and she’s been setting the bar for “amazing kid” ever since. She’s a fantastic singer, a walking encyclopedia of FNAF, and a flawless auntie to Mia.
She’s bright, outgoing, kind-hearted, and the sort of person who makes you lucky just to know her. Trevor, Mia, and I couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our special day—and the fact that she’s escorting Mia down the aisle might just be the cutest moment of the whole wedding.
