The next time Maria and Trevor saw each other was several weeks later at Trevor's apartment. Trevor was hosting a movie night for the InterVarsity students and once again, Maria was invited to go by one of the students. That night, 13 people showed up and crammed into Trevor's small living room to watch the movie "War Room," a movie about the power of prayer and intercession.

Trevor was too busy trying to be host to a full apartment that he wasn't able to interact with Maria much. However, no interaction was needed for a spark of interest to take place for Maria. During the movie, Trevor would look around at the students in the room and then start to prayer quietly for them.
