Our Wedding

Our story started in 2019, when we met through mutual friends back in high school, despite going to rival schools. Trevor was the wrestling star at his school, and even though Avery barely knew anything about wrestling at the time, she quickly found herself learning all about it… and cheering him on from the start.We began our relationship long-distance, with Avery in Grand Island and Trevor in Aurora, and somehow the miles never got in the way. College split us up again, Avery headed to UNK in Kearney and Trevor to the Omaha metro, but we kept choosing each other through every stage.After graduation, Trevor took his first lineman job in Rock Valley, Iowa, which was a tough stretch, but everything changed when he got the opportunity to come back to Central City with Southern Power. He moved home, bought a house, and adopted Nala, our golden retriever, who instantly became part of the family. Avery moved in while student-teaching at Central City Elementary, and after graduating, she started her career as a kindergarten teacher. Now we’re settled in Central City, living the life we once used to talk about from miles apart.What We LoveWhen we’re not working, we love spending time together especially in the summer. You can usually find us jeeping with friends and family, hanging out on the river, or doing something that will inevitably turn into a story later. We love going to concerts, being in a crowd, and listening to good music together. And wherever we go, Nala isn’t far behind.Trevor’s cooking has also become one of our favorite parts of day-to-day life. Whether he’s trying out a new recipe or we’re just making something simple, it’s something we always enjoy doing side by side.From off-roading to concerts to quiet nights in the kitchen, our life is full of the things we love and the little moments that feel like “us.” And now, we’re excited to take the next step and celebrate the beginning of our forever with all the people who have supported us along the way.
