Hi everyone! A few years ago in January 2022 I found out I was pregnant. Trevor and I were over the moon excited about welcoming a new baby into our lives. Unfortunately, things didn’t happen the way we expected. We found out that I had an ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening if it ruptures. I had to undergo emergency surgery to remove my fallopian tube and we were devastated. Fast forward two months later we found out I was pregnant again. Sadly it was the same outcome and another emergency surgery to remove my last tube. We were heartbroken knowing we weren’t ever going to be able to get pregnant naturally. After talking with Doctors we learned about alternatives and that we could still possibly get pregnant by a process called in vitro fertilization(IVF). Knowing that we could still potentially conceive a baby our hopes are high again. We are excited to start the IVF process next spring and with luck and lots of prayers we look forward to growing our little family and hopefully bring a new blessing into the world that we’ve been praying for ever since. Because these in-vitro procedures are so very expensive we’ve decided not to register for material wedding gifts and instead are asking for monetary donations to our IVF fund. To us, that would be the greatest gift of all.
