It was a late night in June; the moon was full and bright, shining on our romantic setting. It was the beach. The waves were softly crashing against the sand that day; there was a slight breeze against the ear but no other sounds. Trevor was spending time walking down the sandy beach that night, and that's when he saw her, Athena. The beauty is sitting on the hill with all her perfection gleaming in the moonlight straight at him. He was dazed when he saw her and knew that if he hadn't brought up the courage that day to talk to her, he would surely have regretted it. He took his chance and slid up to her and spit his game (which wasn't that good), but it was good enough for Athena's heart to feel that Trevor was trying, and he was too cute to pass up. That night they felt the universe was revolving around them for that moment. Nothing else mattered, and then one thing led to another; they kept meeting up and eventually became an inseparable couple. At least that's what Trevor thought it was like.
In reality, it didn't go like that, but we did meet by chance where Trevor was working one day, and by luck, Athena came in for that day. The actions that went by were mostly the same because that's how we felt about the beginnings of our companionship. The way we felt was real, and if Trevor did not bring up the courage that day to do something about what his heart was telling him to do, we would have a completely different future ahead of us. But who knows it is widely possible that fate brought two people from opposite sides of the world to meet in a town in Indiana of all places on a day when Trevor was working part-time and Athena would only be coming for a single day. By those chances, it seemed fate wanted us to be together, and we have stayed happy ever since.
What we learned from our relationship is that love can come out of nowhere and nothingness. Trevor didn't realize he would meet the love of his life, and Athena didn't expect to meet up with some dork who was going to be her future husband. Especially the summer right before COVID happened. You should always look for discomfort, especially if your heart is calling for it because you'll never know, two pathways to a widely different future for your life are about to happen.
