Rocco & I's love story began on a chilly evening in Cheney, WA. It did not take long for us to become inseparable. From dancing in an emptying parking lot, to date nights watching the summer sun set on the rolling hills of the Palouse, to going for slushy runs, Rocco and I became best friends before we could blink.

Throughout the summer we found a love for being in the outdoors. We spent many days hiking, camping, playing grass volleyball, and of course playing pickle ball... mostly rocs. We traveled to Arizona, and learned we can spend 21 hours together in a car and not get sick of one another, I think. We then did a week long adventure in Montana which brought a bear sighting...I was so excited, Rocco not so much. The end of our summer included rodeos, paddle boarding and yes more pickleball.

Then came the fall, which brought us volleyball season. Rocco often found himself calling in sick to catch flights that took him all over the west coast to watch me. His unwavering support truly showed me the kind of man he is, and I know with all my heart he is going to support all the crazy dreams I will ever come home with. No matter what.

Throughout this busy year, we have been pursuing our Master's Degrees which both will be complete in June of 2025. Rocco will have his M.Ed. and I will have my M.S. Our next steps are PT school at EWU... GO EAGS and year two of teaching at Liberty High School... GO LANCERS!

Then the next thing I know, Rocco is down on one knee. All I can remember from that moment was all of our tears (we're softies), and all the love I felt for him. Rocco is my safe place, my biggest cheerleader, my rock and more than anything else, the man who has my heart. He was and always will be the easiest yes!

We are so excited for our big day and hope you all can all be there when we step into marriage together, as one. The love we have felt since being engaged has been nothing short of amazing. So, to our family and friends, thank you and we love you. Now let's get this party started! August 9th can't come soon enough.
