While we want to be able to celebrate with EVERYONE the venue does have a maximum. In order to make sure our family and close friends are able to make it, please refer to your invitation about a +1. Your invitation will state either your name (no guest) or your name and guest (yes bring someone).

At this moment only the nieces and nephews of the bride and groom are invited to the wedding. We want our friends and family to enjoy a night our celebrating with few responsibilities except to PARTY!

When you arrive at Mt. Ida you will be directed PAST the barn and down towards a white manor house. You will park here and walk to our ceremony site. After the ceremony you will exit on the one way street and go park in the grassy area in front of the barn you drove by upon entering. There will be attendants from Mt. Ida to help direct you.

PLEASE NO JEANS! Tricia, Patrick, and their families have spent a lot of time planning this beautiful day. While black tie is not necessary, we do ask that you dress up to celebrate the newlyweds. Think cocktail attire. Reach out to Tricia if you have any specific questions.

We will have a photographer there to capture special moments during the ceremony. Please silence your phones and keep them away until after the ceremony. Feel free to snap all the pictures you want during the reception. Be sure to scan the QR code at the reception to upload all of your pictures for us to enjoy! Feel free to text us pictures to enjoy once the night is over! You might want to download the Google Drive App so you can save the QR code and folder to easily add pictures

The wedding will begin PROMPTLY at 4:00. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to park, walk to the site, and get comfortable. If you arrive at 4:00 you will be held up top until Tricia and her dad make their grand walk down to Patrick.

We are working on getting a common space in the hotel for people to gather in and spend time together. Many people will be doing brunch after the wedding on Sunday morning. Please check with your main wedding contact a few days before the wedding to find out if we have picked a place.

As of now we are OUTDOORS! If the weather turns bad, we will make a decision by 12:00 on Saturday to move inside. The inside venue is the Event Barn where the reception will be taking place. Be sure that your contact number is correct on our website, if we change to an indoor event we will send a message out to everyone.

Yes, we want everyone to enjoy and celebrate with us. However, the bartendars greatly appreciate tips so please plan accordingly. Also, the venue is about 30 minutes from downtown Charlottesville on some small windy roads. Please be smart and safe when traveling, maybe make a plan ahead of time to have an Uber come and get you...

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. Please contact either of us for our address or use the address attached to our registries. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

There will be about an hour between ceremony and reception. There will be a cocktail hour at the Event Barn post ceremony for people to enjoy while we get our photos done.
