Back in July of 2017 Tristen and Tricia met through their best friends Ariana and Anthony. That night they began bonding over curly fries, milkshakes, and music. Exactly a month later they were officially together. From the beginning, their relationship faced challenges of loss within the family and long distance. Soon goodbyes were said and tears were shed when he left for boot camp. Though challenging , it allowed their love to grow through letters. Ever since then their love story has continued to be written with growth, failures, and adventures. About four and a half years later he decided that he would need to propose soon if he wanted to surprise her. At this point, plans were discussed to get engaged within the year and they decided to begin shopping for the ring. He turned that year long process into 2 days and bought the ring. To her surprise, two months later surrounded by family on a cruise ship, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
