We met at our church, Emerson Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Marietta, GA, in the summer of 2021. Riley's daughter, Daniella, introduced Trin to Riley through the religious exploration program. Our first date caught us by surprise—we didn’t even realize it was a date until halfway through! From there, our amazing relationship blossomed.

Riley proposed to Trin on May 4th, 2024, at our church—the perfect place since it’s where we met. True to our love of the game Stardew Valley, Riley incorporated special details: he placed the ring and a custom-made seashell necklace (like the one in the game for a proposal) inside a 3D-printed dragon egg. Trin said yes!

Our connection is built on shared love, laughter, and a mutual appreciation for gaming, from Stardew Valley to board games and TTRPGs. We’re so excited to start this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
