Our Wedding

In 2013 Trinique & Omari met each other in high school freshman year. She had the biggest crush on him, the entire school knew. He knew she liked him so much, he would tease her about it, and she would blush so much she’d cover her face. Sophomore year, it was the first day of school. Omari walked in the class she was in and sat down. Trinique lost it, immediately texted her bestfriend “OMG OMG HES IN MY CLASS, I CAN SCREAM RN”. She had butterflies every minute in class. He peaked his head from across the room and smiled at her, she immediately smiled immensely. He would sit next to her everyday and make her laugh, blush and fool around… she enjoyed every bit of it, except that she had to make sure she woke up earlier than usual to make sure looked great since he was in her 1st period class. At this point, it was very fun, flirty, and friendly at the same time. Mixed signals were coming from him but Trinique knew he was the one for her, so she prayed on it and let time work its magic. All of her friends tried telling her he wasn’t the one for her but she didn’t listen, her gut knew it was right. Omari was a very unique person, many layers to peel, but he always stayed true to himself. He also worked during high school. Trinique was very involved at school, played basketball, ran track, was a student mentor, played flag football, joined multiple clubs and programs. A very busy Christian girl who was still sooo head over heels for a boy who sometimes was a trouble teenager. Junior year started. Omari has now become the one who showed interest, texting her, showing up to her practices, giving her all that she ever wanted. They got closer and made it official end of junior year. Senior year was the best year yet. High school seniors, power couple, everyone loved them, him showing up to all of her basketball games (even practices), walking to class, holding hands, laughing, eating their favorite snacks, him making sure she eats before he drops her off at home. It was perfect for her, felt like a dream come true. Their families also love them as a new son & daughter n law. Later that year, he asked her to homecoming and had the perfect flowers, gifts, favorite foods and had some help from classmates…. she said YES. Trinique and Omari flourished through senior year doing everything together, although still very young minded, naive, learning about themselves, they had a feeling life after high school would be tricky. Yet they conquered everything that came their way, grew up together, while learning about theirselves individually, trying to figure out life itself. It wasn’t easy but they leaned on each other and learned from each other and from mistakes. The years after high school, they’ve worked jobs, grieved loved ones, moved into their first apartment/house, figuring out finances to move through life, lived, loved and laughed. They knew as long as they have each other, it would be fine. Trinique always reminded him that things will always work out the way it’s supposed to, and that God won’t give us anything we can’t handle or get through. Today, they are 26 years old living together, both working, loving, living and learning continuously and enjoying their beautiful life together as one. Omari proposed August 19th 2025 and they’ve been floating around hearts even more than before. Omari is the dreamy Prince she always knew he was, and they live happily ever after, in the name of Jesus. 🤎
