We first met at his friend’s house— which, funny enough, was just down the alley from where I lived. He was sitting there, casually sipping a Coke, and of course, I couldn’t resist teasing him about it. Little did I know, he had just gone through heart surgery that week! What started as a playful moment of joking around turned into one of those unforgettable first impressions.

After that night, he added me on Snapchat, and soon our casual chats turned into daily conversations. A week later, I was on a family vacation in Colorado and invited him to join — unfortunately, he already had plans that week. But not long after I got home, he sent me a message that made me smile: “If I fly in from working on the road, will you pick me up from the airport?” Naturally, my answer was an enthusiastic yes!

What began as a lighthearted moment among friends has grown into something truly special. From teasing over a Coke to planning our forever — we can’t wait to start this next chapter of our story together. ❤️
