Our Story

The Start

Picture of The Start

Trinity and Lewis met in April 2016, after having gone to the same secondary school and never speaking. Trinity was in Sixth Form and Lewis was working in Hereford. On the first day we met properly, Lewis dropped Trin home and as getting out of the car, told her 'love you' which Trin never lets Lewis forget. Fast forward to Trin's 17th birthday, they had only been seeing each other for a few weeks, but Lewis got Trin a bunch of roses, some shower gifts and a 'special friend' card, it did not take a genius to work out that Sue had been sent out to get it! We have undoubtedly been through a lot since...

In Between

Trin went to Cardiff University to study law whilst Lewis continued to work across the country for Schaeffler as Sales Manager of the South of the UK. Then Covid-19 hit and they were apart for months, trying to navigate lockdown. Casually during lockdown, Trin found her dad, Paul. She learned he was from Belfast, and she was a bit worried that this was quite far away but it wasn't too bad. But of course, he now had to live as far away from the UK as physically possible; New Zealand. Trin flew out to Belfast to meet her siblings and then New Zealand to meet the rest of the family. Lewis supported Trin through all of this whilst also launching his new business and had to stay at home, despite Trin's dad frequently reminding him that New Zealand are crying out for oven cleaners!

The Proposal

Lewis and Trin then flew over to Belfast to spend time with Trin's new found family, little did she know that Lewis was asking Paul if he could marry her. The following week, Lewis gathered all of their closest family at his family home in St Weonards and proposed, despite Trin surprisingly being late due to a stop at nan's house on the way home.

Our Home

They very quickly bought their first home together in the perfect location for them in Hereford. Unsurprisingly to many, they also very quickly bought the puppy they have spoken about since the first day they met, their blue staffie called Rocco. All there is left to do now is to get married and Trin can finally become Mrs Fletcher for real!
