What started as a simple date has turned into a beautiful journey we never could have imagined. Our journey began in April 2023, when we connected through Hinge. For our first date, we decided to catch a Round Rock Express baseball game. Little did we know that the game itself would become a blur because we were so engrossed in conversation. We talked the entire time, losing track of the score, the innings, and even who won. It was in that moment we realized we had found something special.

As time passed, our bond only grew stronger. One significant moment came during one of Jalen’s many excursions to Korea. Despite the distance, we both knew we were meant to be together. In October, Trinity confided in her best friend, saying, “I’m going to marry him.” Little did Trinity know, he was thinking the same.

The proposal was nothing short of perfect. Jalen flew his mom down, telling Trinity we were just going to dinner so she could meet her parents. But when they arrived at Vince Young Steakhouse, Trinity was surprised to see not only her parents but also her grandparents, godmother, and brother. Surrounded by their loved ones, Jalen asked Trinity to marry him, and of course, she said yes.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve had the joy of living together and raising our wild, lovable dog. It’s been an incredible journey, one that has only strengthened our love and commitment to each other. We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us as we continue this amazing adventure together.
