Their story begins in an unsuspecting place; the front entrance to Cuthbertson High School. Through a mutual friend, Trinity and Jacob's introduction to one another was as simple and mundane as they came. However, through picking parking spots for their senior year right next to each other, they would go on to become close friends by late 2018.

By the time senior prom was approaching, it was clear to both Trinity and Jacob that there was something in the air between them. They decided to stay close friends for the time being, but that didn't stop them from being each other's prom dates

After having the time of their lives at prom, the love between Trinity and Jacob grew further. By this point, they knew that they wanted to be with each other. There were some things that needed dealing with first, though...

High school graduation came and went, with the pair excited for what was to come.

Jacob, after months of planning and strategically asking Trinity's parents for their permission, asked her to be his girlfriend on August 30th, 2019. They would go on to enjoy several dates with one another in the years to come, an example being Charlotte Motor Speedway! This was all while maneuvering through their undergrad programs together.

Although the pandemic stifled their adventures somewhat, things picked back up in 2022 in a big way with a trip to Disney World, where they managed to visit all 4 parks in one day!

Back on campus, Trinity and Jacob often enjoyed the company of their Wingate University pals. Here they are the fall of their senior year after TPing the Academic Quad!

Our two lovebirds also had fun dressing up every Halloween! Sometimes they would match, and sometimes they'd just do their own thing. No way you can guess which route they went down this particular year...

A significant chapter in their lives concluded when they graduated with their Bachelor's degrees in front of their close friends, classmates and families. Now that this was out of the way, Jacob could do something that he had been waiting many years to do...

Another one of their favorite hobbies was going to Carowinds. Whether it was riding the thrilling Fury 325, the calm but potentially chaotic Mountain Gliders, or walking through one of Scarowinds' Scare Mazes, they were sure to make the most of every visit!

Finally, after nearly five years dating, Jacob proposed to Trinity under a Magnolia tree at a Cause for Tea in Downtown Monroe.
