Jeff and Trish found each other on Christian Mingle, chatted for a while, and decided to meet. There was conflict of schedules and the only day free was a Sunday. Jeff attends Spring Creek church and Trish had been struggling to find a new church community. Jeff stated that he was available on Sunday but that he usually goes to church on Sundays. Trish said that she was willing to meet Jeff for the first time on Sunday morning before church.

Although nervous and unsure about going to a new church, let alone meeting a new love interest, the couple did meet and go to a church service together. Jeff and Trish both wore navy blue with khaki for their first date attire and parked next to each other even though they didn't know what the other drove.

After the church service, the date wasn't over and they went to get "Brunch" at Good Eats Cafe. This is where the magic happened. Jeff and Trish got to know each other more and eventually had to be asked to leave because they were closing up. Oops! Here they learned there are more similarities in their personalities, interests, and lifestyles. It was a seamless spark that was forming between them.

Jeff invited Trish to an escape room for their 3rd date and since they worked well together, Jeff made it official that night, with the awkward question, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" The rest is history.

Their shared interest in family, board games, reading, worship, and good food have kept their relationship thriving and full of adventure.

They cannot wait to start their lives together.
