We will be reserving a room block at the Residence Inn, Jackson Airport/Pearl located approximately 10 minutes from Jackson–Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN). There are also several additional accommodation options available in the nearby towns of Richland and Florence. Please find more details and the booking link in the “Travel” tab. Guests are also welcome to make their own arrangements at other nearby hotels or Airbnbs, if preferred.

We kindly request our guests to dress in formal or cocktail attire to help us look good in photos forever. Think elegant dresses, gowns, suits, or traditional Indian attire like sarees, lehengas, kurtas, or sherwanis. We’re trusting Mississippi to behave itself in April (fingers crossed), which usually means upper 60s during the day and lower 50s at night — so plan your layers accordingly!

Guests are welcome to begin arriving between 4:00 – 5:00 PM. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour at 5:30 PM, featuring red and white wines. The reception will begin at 6:00 PM, with dinner served until 8:00 PM. Between 8:00 – 9:00 PM, we’ll be doing a “fake” grand exit with sparklers (so our photographer can head out with some magical shots). And after 9:00 PM — it’s open dance floor, good music, great company, and lots of fun until 10:00 PM!

You can fly into Jackson–Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN), which is about 10 minutes from the nearest towns (Pearl and Florence) with major hotels. We recommend renting a car or grabbing an Uber/Lyft to get around.

We will be serving buffet-style American and Indian cuisine, with a variety of mostly non-vegetarian options and a few vegetarian selections. If you are vegetarian, please be sure to indicate this when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Red and white wines will also be served during the cocktail hour.

Please, no gifts — your presence is more than enough for us (seriously, you showing up is huge ). Cards and good wishes are always welcome and will be lovingly appreciated. We’ll have a card box at the reception for drop-off. And for the overachievers who really love gift-giving, we’ve also added a registry to this website — completely optional.
