Trisha and Danny met at Kaimuki High School during their sophomore year. They became close friends through the National Honor Society, cross country, and multiple classes together. Danny asked Trisha to Senior Prom and Trisha said yes.... they began dating soon after and began a long-distance relationship through college. Despite Trisha's hectic schedule of swimming, work, and classes, and Danny's hectic schedule of classes, coaching, and soccer, they spoke daily. Danny worked hard to graduate from UH a semester early to see Trisha graduate from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. After graduating, Trisha began teaching at QKS and Danny soon followed with his teaching career at their alma mater (Kaimuki High). Currently, Trisha and Danny coach cross country together, in addition to coaching their respective sports (soccer and swimming). They bought their first place in 2020 together and have enjoyed learning to live together. Trisha and Danny love staying fit by running, lifting, and going to CrossFit (only Trisha lol). Danny is trying his best to teach Trisha Cantonese and Trisha is trying her best to continue to help Danny practice his swimming :)
