Dylan and I met through snapchat. We knew of each other in high school, but didn't actually get to know each other until after he graduated and I was a junior in high school. He made the move by sliding up on my snapchat stories multiple times telling me how beautiful I was. Well, he really caught my attention when he slid up one day and said "Zoo-wee-mama". I remember busting out laughing when he said that, and that is when I knew that I wanted to date him. For those of you that don't know, that comment is from a book called The Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which was one of my favorite chapter books as a kid.

Soon after that we went on a date and it was during COVID-19 so, there wasn't much that we could do. We ended up going to the alligator refugee and then ate at Huddle House because that was the only thing that was open. He even made a whole playlist for our ride in the car just because of our date. We continued to "to talk" and would meet up at Bakers Pond to go walking together. Eventually we went with his mom and sisters to Hodges Strawberry Farm and that is where he asked me to be his girlfriend on April 11th, 2020.

Over 4 years later we have grown up together into our adult years, and we wouldn't want it any other way. We have had so many adventures, laughs, and memories to last us a lifetime. We cannot wait to become one and spend the rest of our lives together. Also, we are excited to share our love story and special day with every one of you. Here is to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Pendleton <3
