Our love story
It all began on a cold December evening in 2018 where we met over some friendly (maybe a little competitive) games at Dave and Busters with friends. We instantly clicked with our alike personality traits of enjoying arcade games and picking at each other at who is the better player. This extended the night into bowling at a local ally over some appetizers and a few of our closest friends. From then on, we were always on different adventures between Charleston to Myrtle Beach. At the time of meeting, Caleb was serving active orders for the airforce at the Charleston, South Carolina Airforce base and I was a freshman in college pursuing teaching in early childhood. We both traveled back and forth quite frequently with crave to get to know each other more. In May of 2019, Caleb FINALLY asked me to be his girlfriend. I had known for a while I was ready to make things official, because I knew Caleb was someone I never wanted to let go of in my life. Caleb is a supporter in everything I do/did. Caleb is funny, fun, caring, and always up for any of my crazy ideas.
After making things official, we continued to travel back and forth even after he moved back to Georgetown, South Carolina at the end of his active orders with the Air Force. We spent countless days/nights doing what we love most. We love ATV riding, hanging out with friends and family, walking on the beach, going on dinner dates, shooting guns, and the list goes on. In November of 2021, I made the move to Georgetown, South Carolina to live with Caleb and take a leap of faith of living in a small town again. In February of 2022, we decided to start our own little family and traveled to Wise, Virginia to get a golden-doodle (Riverlynn) that we would then fall in love with. We were a doodle loving couple. Enough of a doodle lover that we would then travel to Shady Spring, West Virginia (my home town) to get our second doodle (Nash). FINALLY, September of 2023 Caleb took me to Pawleys Island Beach, Pawleys Island, South Carolina to “walk the pups.” Caleb got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.. I said YES!
We are so excited for our next adventures in life, ESPECIALLY celebrating our love and tying the knot with the ones we love most in January of 2025.
