Tourist Visa: The process for this can take a couple of months, so be sure to do it in advance.
Vaccinations: Visit your doctor at least a month before your trip to make sure you are up to date on your vaccinations.
Phone: Your SIM card may not work in India; check with your carrier. You can buy a new SIM card at the Dehli airport for fairly cheap if needed.
WhatsApp: Good to have when traveling internationally because you can text or call with local wifi if your SIM card doesn't have service.
Don't plan on driving yourself anywhere (trust us). Uber will be available in/around Delhi, but may not be in other places.
We will provide transport from Delhi to Hapur and back the day before the wedding (March 3) for the Haldi and Mehandi ceremonies.
You should stay in Delhi, not Hapur. The hotels will be nicer in Dehli and it will be much easier to get around there. We will rent a bus to take everyone to Hapur for the ceremonies the day before the wedding, and the main wedding will take place in Delhi.
