Almost three years ago, we met online. Little did I know, Tristan was several hundred miles away in Arizona while I was working on my degree in Ohio. As we texted, we found that we have lived close to one another for our entire lives. We grew up going to the same parks; the same zoo each weekend. We have countless mutual friends. Despite all of this, we have always just missed meeting. However, that all changed when Tristan finally came home for the first time after training. Things started picking up after that. Tristan was stationed at Fort Liberty in North Carolina and I was well on my way to becoming a teacher. On Tristan's birthday, I graduated from the University of Findlay and just three days later we were driving a U-Haul down South. Now, we live together with our cat, dog, snake, and rat. The past few years have been an amazing experience and we have grown so much together. We are so excited to continue this story with our next chapter: married life!

I never expected the girl I met on Bumble to be the girl that would become my wife. Heather has stuck by my side no matter how far apart we have been (This includes 4 different states). After getting to know her, we had very similar childhoods and lots of mutual friends. If we would have taken one or two steps out of our circles, we would have met. However, God put us in each other's lives at just the right time. I met Heather in the middle of her time at the University of Findlay and it was a privilege watching her grow and learn not only as a teacher, but as a person. Now, we live together in North Carolina and every day brings a new adventure. I love our little family and I'm so excited to see it grow. Here's to forever.
