By when do I need to RSVP?
Please RSVP on this website on or before 25 April 2024. The couple will be making payment and confirming accommodation on 26 April. If you do not RSVP by this date and still wish to attend, the cost will fall on your own account.
Do I need to pay for my own accomodation?
Accommodation costs for Friday, 31 May and Saturday, 1 June will be covered. The wedding couple and their parents will handle the bookings and payments. Last minute cancellations will fall on your own account.
where is my accomodation?
Two different accommodation locations have been booked. Some of our guests will stay at Champagne Castle Hotel and Resort. Other guests will stay at Ntabamoya Private Game Reserve. We will share your check-in information and where you will be staying via WhatsApp.
what is the dress code?
The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is formal attire. We will be taking photos of all our guests, and therefore ask that you don't wear any bright colours for the pictures. Remember to bring something warm, the Drakensberg can get very cold in June.
Can I bring a plus one?
Your invitation will have indicated this. If you are still unsure, please contact the wedding party.
What additional costs do i need to be aware of?
The following costs will fall on your account: Your travel costs. The optional welcome dinner at the Valley Baker on 31 May. The optional breakfast at the Valley Bakery on 2 June. There will be a cash bar at the Reception venue. You have been booked into self-catering units and will be responsible for making your own food during your stay.
Can I take photos?
You are welcome to snap a few photos throughout the day. Please remember to also take time away from the phone and share in our special moments. We have an amazing photographer and will gladly share our photos with you afterwards.
should we bring gifts?
We do not expect anything. The travel to the Drakensberg is already expensive and we are appreciative of your efforts in attending. If you would still like to bless us with a gift, keep it simple. Some money for the honeymoon would be appreciated.
