Our Wedding

Tristin and Riley met in the summer of 2021 despite the ever-crossing paths of their youth, their invisible string. Both were involved in soccer and shared many mutual friends before finally crashing into each other. Without getting into too many details, Tristin asked Riley to go on their first date to an ice cream shop and movie, another a couple weeks later mini golfing and the rest in history.---Tristin and Riley started a new life in northern Iowa where they both work full time jobs in Decorah and commute from Lime Springs. They live in a family owned farm house built in 1881 with Goose, their handsome and insanely intelligent golden retriever, Lilac, the cat, and four egg-laying chickens (they live outside, but are considered family as they bring a lot to the table, literally).---"We live a pretty simple life and for that I am forever thankful. This is how it is supposed to go after all: you find a person who wants to live the same kind of life as you and you just do it together. I am excited to enter the next chapter of our dream and for everyone to witness it." -Riley

Riley's brother and Upper Iowa football tight end who is taking one for the team and is standing on Riley's side because she believes it only makes sense that her people stand on her side.

Tristin's life long best friend and ultimately the couples match maker who is sure to keep the party going and to keep it, at the cleanest, PG13.

Riley's aunt, but mostly second mom. The core of some of Riley's favorite childhood memories.

Tristin's high school pal and fellow pheasant hunter who has had Tristin's back through it all, but mostly COVID. 

Zach (Buzz) Buzynski

Although she is technically Tristin's stepmom she is also one of Riley's favorite people. A simple soul with a whole lot of love and happy vibes.

Tristin's roommate, soccer teammate and best mate from college. A St. Louis resident who is down... for everything.

Tristin's half brother who will officially be 21 for the big day so WATCH OUT!

Tristin's college friend who was so desperately wanted in the wedding, he was asked twice. Hoping he can safely escort Grandma down the aisle.

Yes, Alan Jackson. Tristin's friend who believes It's (always) Five O'Clock Somewhere and is ready for a Good Time.

Wedding Party

Our ceremony will begin around 3:30, please arrive before this time to ensure everyone is seated. The reception will follow ceremony and will end at 10 PM. •  Due to limited venue capacity, we ask that you only RSVP for individuals included on your invitation. If you do not RSVP, we will assume that you are unfortunately declining and we will adjust our seating arrangements accordingly. •  After the ceremony, the tables will be set with a large variety of desserts. Although you will have an assigned table, you are not limited to what is at your table. In fact, you are encouraged to travel from table to table to enjoy other tables desserts. We hope you enjoy this unique part of our wedding! Dinner doesn’t always come first! •  Vehicles cannot stay in the venue parking lot over night. Please see travel tab for lodging options and utilize your designated drivers. •  No outside alcohol is allowed on venue grounds. There will be a limited open bar and cash bar available for beverages. •  The meal will be catered by Randall's in Hudson with options of chicken breast or brisket with or without a bun. The options are both gluten free.
