Our Wedding

Carson and Tristin met in college while attending the University of Idaho. They were in the same major their junior year and had many classes together. In one of those classes, they were put in a group project and that's where it all began. They became close friends, and Tristin realized she started to like this cute and funny boy. After a few months, Tristin was honest and expressed her feelings to Carson. Carson knew he liked Tristin, but wasn't sure if he wanted to take their relationship to the next level. It didn't take Carson long to decide that he did and ask Tristin out a few weeks later.

How We Met & Started Dating

It was an early Saturday morning. Carson, Tristin, and Tristin's two best friends, Alexis and John, got on a 6:00am ferry to Catalina Island. (This was going to be Tristin and Carson's second time coming to Catalina. The first time they went was during their first vacation together.) On the way there, they played UNO to pass the time. As soon as they got to the island, they ate breakfast and started planning out their day. Little did they realize a lot of things on the island are really expensive or already booked. The game plan became to go see the botanical garden, play some mini golf, get some lunch and lastly, go see the Buena Vista view point before getting back on the ferry to go home. They get to the botanical garden and start walking the trail, while also taking pictures of the plants. The trail has a beautiful monument on the top of hill where you can look out and enjoy the scenery. Of course, Tristin asks Alexis and John if they want some pictures of them together with the view behind them. While this was happening, Carson was being sneaky behind Tristin, getting something from his backpack. Tristin takes some photos and in return, Alexis asks if Tristin and Carson want some as well. As soon as they got in position, Carson got on one knee and nervously got the words out, "Tristin, will you marry me?" The birds were paid actors at this point, cherping away, while Tristin jumps in a circle excitingly and says "yes." For the rest of the day, Carson felt more relaxed and Tristin felt giddy with excitement. Who knew that the second time Tristin &amp; Carson would come to Catalina Island would be the day that changed their lives forever.

Our Story

~ Carson and Tristin are getting married! There will be a small and intimate ceremony in the the beautiful Yosemite National Park for immediate family. Following their special day, there will be two separate receptions for california and idaho attendees at later dates listed below. They are so excited to celebrate with everyone! ~

Note: This event is for California attendees only. The California reception for Tristin and Carson will be held on November 1st, 2025, at Del Valle Park in the lakewood youth center. Semi-formal and fun attitudes are required. 4:00-7:00pm

California Reception Details

Note: This event is for Idaho attendees only. The Idaho reception for Tristin and Carson will be held on November 15th, 2025 at Bridge Bible Fellowship Church.1:00-4:00pm
