We met in 5th grade and became friends and stayed friends throughout middle school. We both went to different high schools but went to a dance together our Junior year. After we graduated we didn't see each other much.

After high school Mitch went on a mission to Tacloban, Philippines and then to Colorado. Tristyn went on a mission to San Pablo, Philippines and then to Santa Rosa California. After Mitch's mission he joined the Marines and moved to California. Tristyn went to Utah Sate University.

Two years after our missions we reconnected over Instagram, and then went on our first date September 23rd, 2023. Since then, we've been dating long distance, spending a lot of time on face-time and traveling to see each other.

Mitch went on deployment to Australia from March 2024-October 2024 while Tristyn finished up school. A few months after Mitch got home, we got engaged! We are so excited to get married and can't wait to be together!
