If that isn't your thing, then it is hard to beat the tried and true Smoky Mountains! Gatlinburg, TN is about 2 hours away and is always a favorite place to have fun while taking in the mountain air/views.

If you’re feeling really wild, Atlanta, GA is about 3 hours away! This is a good option if you want more of the city nightlife, but it also has a lot of outdoors opportunities such as fishing and tubing down the Chattahoochee river.
