Where should we stay?

We reserved a room block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Pottstown Limerick. Please see more information and the booking link in the "travel" tab. You are also welcome to stay in other accommodations such as nearby hotels or AirBnBs if you prefer.

What should we wear?

This is a mixed western and Indian celebration. Please wear what makes you feel your best! Ideas include: nice summery dresses (prefer close to knee length or longer), cocktail style dresses, gowns, suits (with or without a jacket and tie), lehenga, saree, kurti, kurta. Since this is an outdoor event, feel free to wear lighter clothing to help keep cool depending on the weather. We recommend avoiding stilettos and similar heels as the event will be held in a grassy meadow.

How do I RSVP?

RSVP for all three events on this website, please. Go to the "RSVP" tab and follow the instructions. Thank you!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 27, 2025.

What is the easiest way to get to Pottstown, PA, via plane?

First, thank you for flying to celebrate our wedding! We recognize the commitment and effort this takes. You can either fly to the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), or Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE). PHL and ABE are about an hour away, while MDT is about an hour and 20 minutes away. We recommend either renting a car or taking an Uber/Lyft, but either way, carpooling with other guests is encouraged! Please contact the bride or groom for help connecting with other out-of-town guests.

Is there parking available at the Althouse Arboretum?

Yes! There are multiple parking lots. There will be student volunteers in the parking lots to help direct cars. Please drive to the main site (1794 Gilbertsville Rd, Pottstown, PA 19464), and you will be redirected to another nearby parking lot if needed.

Why did you choose the Althouse Arboretum as your venue?

Great question! The father of the groom, Ken Hamilton, is the founder and Executive Director of GreenAllies, a national nonprofit organization that created the Althouse Arboretum! They do amazing work for the community and environment. We are excited for you to see how beautiful the Arboretum is.

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

We will be outside under a very large tent in a grassy meadow.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes, we love children! The groom is a pediatrician, after all. Please let us know how many children you will be bringing with you when you RSVP.

Can I bring my significant other?

Yes, of course, just please include their name and any dietary restrictions on your RSVP.

What type of food will you be serving?

We will have buffet-style food with plenty of options! There will be both American and Indian food, with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut-free options. Please indicate your food restrictions when you RSVP. We will reach out to you if we have questions.

What kind of drinks will be served?

There will be wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. We will also be sure to supply plenty of water.

Should we bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the truly greatest gift we could ask for! Further gifts are not required. A wedding card box will be at our reception. There is also a registry on this website. Alternatively, we would love if you made a donation in our name, Green Allies (who run the Althouse Arboretum) is listed on the Registry. Thank you!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Despite being a small town, Pottstown is a charming place to visit. Some of our favorite food places are: -The Blue Elephant (152 E High St.) - Asian fusion -Shorty's Sunflower Cafe (1494 N Charlotte St.) - American breakfast/brunch with vegetarian options -iCreate Cafe (130 King St.) - fully vegan restaurant -The Grind (45 S. Reading Ave.) - restaurant for meat lovers -Opa Vera (1483 N. Charlotte St.) - Greek restaurant -The Alley on High Street (228 E. High St.) - brewery -Espresso Yourself Book Cafe (249 E. High St.) - coffee book shop that we haven't been to but would love to visit! Other than eating and drinking and visiting the Althouse Arboretum, you can visit St. Peter's Village, which is a small town with cute shops and hiking. A little outside of Pottstown is: -Valley Forge - historic site -Longwood Gardens - beautiful place -King of Prussia - good shopping -Philadelphia-fun city to visit

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

We are planning a casual dinner on Friday night and a casual brunch on Sunday morning for guests who are in town for the weekend. These events are optional and will take place at Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton's home. Their address is on the invite - text Matthew, Tulsi, or Mr. or Mrs. Hamilton if you need the address again or have questions. Please RSVP for these events when you RSVP for the wedding reception.

Will there be dancing?

Yes! There will be both garba and typical wedding dancing to American and Bollywood music. Garba is a traditional folk-dance originating from Gujarat, India, and is the bride's favorite type of dance.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes! Please share them with us if you do :)
