FAQs for Tumroo and Peter's Once-in-a-Lifetime (Hopefully) Wedding Spectacle
1. When and where is the wedding?
Ready your confetti throwin' arm, folks! Our wedding is set for August 11, 2023, at the grand Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Westminster, Colorado. Just look for the building that screams Happily ever after starts here!
2. What should I put on my body?
This isn't the Oscars, but it's not a backyard BBQ either. Think semi-formal. Yes, you'll have to dust off that old suit or dress. No, you can't wear your favorite football jersey.
3. Are tiny, noisy humans welcome?
Yes, because what’s a major life event without children running wild? Bring 'em if you've got 'em.
4. What's the car-squishing situation?
There’s a car park. And it’s free, unlike everything else about this wedding.
5. Is the venue accessible?
Absolutely. We checked, double-checked, and triple-checked to make sure everyone can join us comfortably. If you need additional assistance, or if you're planning on arriving by helicopter or parachute, let Emily, our wedding planner, know.
6. What about accommodation options?
We have arranged for rooms at the Westin Westminster. Please reference Straub Wedding when making your reservation to receive a special discounted rate. We recommend booking early to ensure availability.
7. Will there be food and drinks?
After the I do's, we're going straight for the I drinks. There'll be food, an open bar, and perhaps a few questionable dance moves to go along with it all.
8. What if the weather isn’t as cooperative as the groom?
We'll just move everything indoors if the skies decide to cry tears of joy on our behalf. We've got it covered - literally.
9. Who can I bother with my questions, comments, and unsolicited advice?
Emily, our wedding planner, has drawn the short straw. So whether you're lost, confused, or just fancy a chat, she's your go-to.
10. When do I need to RSVP?
We need a headcount by July 11, but we won't say no to earlier confirmations. We get it, commitment is hard.
11. Can we take photos/post on social media?
While we appreciate the Insta-love, we ask that you enjoy our ceremony live and not through your screen (it's what we call an Unplugged Wedding). But once the reception hits, snap away! We're already looking forward to those epic dance floor pics.
We are overjoyed to be able to share this momentous occasion with all of you and are looking forward to seeing everyone there. It's going to be a day full of love, celebration, and memories. Thank you for being part of our journey!
