Our Wedding

In the summer of 2018, Kendall reconnected with a Texas friend, Jayce, who she had known since they were 16 years old. She flew solo for the first time to hangout with the Rumsey family in Houston. Jayce could not wait for Kendall to meet his high school friends, some of which Kendall had already met before. They all planned to go to a bar one night during her time there. Once everyone got to the bar, everything was pretty casual. Small talk was made so everyone could get to know Kendall and Kendall could get to know everyone. That was until, Ty ordered tequila shots... If you know Kendall, you know that she does not take shots! (And if you know Ty, you know that he most definitely takes shots). Kendall thought she could get away with hiding in the background of the group and hopefully being able to dump the tequila from the glass without anyone watching. Everyone clinked their glasses and toasted to a great night. Kendall paused and waited for the perfect moment to dump the liquid without anyone noticing, but she looked over and Ty was watching her the whole time....with his glass also still full... He said, "What are you waiting for?" She replied, "What are YOU waiting for?" His response, "Southern hospitality means we drink with our guests. Waiting on you." Kendall was doomed, but they drank. After bar hopping, they got in an Uber with the entire group. Kendall sat in the very back of the van and Ty was sitting in front of her. There were many conversations going on in the car at the time, but Ty must have thought his conversation was the most important considering the volume of his voice kept increasing. Eventually, Kendall said "Ty can you relax?" He turned around and looked at her in shock. He had met his match in sarcasm and comebacks! Needless to say, the two had a fun chemistry right from the start. The banter continued even when Kendall made her way back to Florida. Eventually, the two traveled back and forth from Florida to Texas every couple of months to see each other. The long distance relationship continued for almost 2 years then Ty finally made his move to Florida. Ty and Kendall have grown to love doing the simple things together like walking their dog, Kona, going out to dinner, and binge watching TV shows. They find comfort in these things because when they did long distance, these were the activities they were able to do together over Facetime. Some say that true love starts with great friendship and we could not agree more! This love was built on laughter, good times, and a little bit of sarcasm along the way. (Thanks, Jayce!)

Tanner is Ty's older brother and partner in crime. When the two of them get together, it is nothing but laughs and crap-talk. Tanner is an amazing host and always takes care of the people around him. Holidays are typically spent at his house where him and his wife, Sindi, make amazing food and provide all of the laughs. 

Tanner is a family man through and through. He owns his own company to support his wife and 3 children. He always makes time to visit or call family when he can. He is definitely the person to call when you need to bury a body or be bailed out of jail. We did say partner in crime...

Ashley and Kendall met in 2021 during an interview (fun right?).  Kendall was working for a clinic and was in need of some help at the office. Kendall hosted Ashley's first round interview and the two were inseparable ever since!

Ashley has a knack for making friends everywhere she goes. In fact, her husband, John, always tells Kendall before a girls' nights, "make sure she knows that not everyone is her friend." But this is one of the many things to love about her! 

She makes friends with bouncers and managers and in turn, gets free things like VIP tables, food and drinks. Who doesn't love that?! She is knowledgable on so many topics, which makes her so likable and easy to talk to.

Ashley

A.J. is Ty's little brother and the "down for anything" person in his life. You will find that A.J. is the most quiet of the three brothers. We think it is because Ty and Tanner traumatized him so much as child that now he has learned to stay quiet, or get picked on. 

Do not be fooled by innocence, he is still related to Ty and Tanner and can certainly talk some crap. But, it will be quietly. A.J. is definitely the "teddy bear" of the family and everyone goes to him for a good hug or an easy going conversation. 

One of A.J.'s favorite hobbies is riding four wheelers! He occasionally enters into races and has some pretty assets to show off his earnings.

Kendall, Kendy, Little Kendall, LK....she responds to all of these names! She is the bride's oldest friend. (The bride goes by Kendall, Kenny, Big Kendall or BK in case you didn't know.)

LK & BK met when they were about 5 years old in the neighborhood in which both of their parents still reside. Over 20 years of friendship and never skipped a beat. They truly act like sisters, where love and support is provided by both Adams and Herndon families. 

LK enjoys good, classic tunes, coffee, pop culture, and an aperol spritz! You will quickly learn that she brings sunshine to every room and gives the best hugs.

Kendall

Brennan is a high school friend of Ty's. The two of them have always been ride-or-dies for each other and still are to this day. Brennan and Ty also worked together in west Texas on oil rigs. This is where they learned that they both hated west Texas. 

Brennan continued working on the rigs when Ty decided to move to Florida. Brennan recently moved back to their hometown in Houston with his 4 year old son, Theo. Regardless of the distance, Brennan and Ty still communicate daily and their friendship has not changed.

Alexis and Kendall have been friends since 2018. Alexis was actually Kendall's trainer at a local restaurant. The two hit it off on the first night of training when they realized they had the same sense of humor and enjoyed poking fun at customers. 

Alexis and Kendall spent most of their time watching movies, hosting taco nights, going to Orlando events, and hitting the farmer's market on Sundays. Now, Alexis lives in Maryland, so the two do not see each other as often, but the relationship has not changed. 

Alexis and Kendall still make time to visit each other or set up Facetime dates to catch up.

Manny is Ty's cousin and the person to go to when you want chill and play video games or watch anime. The two can talk anime for days and never get bored. Manny loves to collect anime art and go to events like MegaCon. 

Manny also loves to travel. His favorite destination so far has been Japan! Based on his love for movies and anime, we will not be surprised if Manny makes his way to Universal sometime during the wedding weekend!

Megan is LK's little sister, essentially making her BK's little sister too! 

Again, over 20 years of friendship and when Megan and BK get together, it is like no time has passed. Megan recently moved to Atlanta, Georgia to start her career as a Nurse. We are just patiently waiting for her to make her way back to the Sunshine State for more boat days and champagne showers. 

Much like LK, Megan brightens a room! She is so welcoming and will make sure that she meets everyone at the party and really get to know them. The Adams sisters will always make sure everyone is included and having a great time.

Chris is Ty's older cousin, who resides in Austin, Texas with this wife and baby girl. Growing up, you would have thought that these two were brother given how much they fought. One day as children, all of the boys placed Ty and Chris against each other in grandma's living room to actually fight. 

This turned into girly slaps and lots of tears instead. After this, Ty and Chris realized that they actually cared for each other and became thick as thieves.

Amanda is another neighborhood friend that grew up alongside BK, LK, & Megan! The four girls were always together on the weekends riding bikes, tubing on the lake, or playing board games at each others' houses. All of their parents still live in the same houses, so when the girls go home for the holidays, it is just like old times. 

Amanda recently moved to Georgia with her husband and three children. Despite the distance, BK & Amanda still make efforts to be in each other's lives and celebrate important events. The two love going to local restaurants, having a glass of wine, and supporting each other in their ever-growing dreams. 

It is safe to say that Amanda is the reason why BK loves R&B/Hip Hop music so much! Actually, Amanda used to babysit BK, LK, & Megan, so the jam sessions were always a hit.

Jimbo is Ty's older cousin, who resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The two did not get to grow up side by side, due to the distance. However, Jimbo always made sure that everyone was doing well and having a good time. 

Jimbo graduated from LSU and is another party instigator like Ty, so when the two get together, be prepared to get Louisiana smashed. Most of their memories are filled with pool days, day drinking, and hilarious stories.

Felicia is Kendall's sister-in-law. Fun fact: they actually first met at Felicia's wedding! It's a long story....but let's just say the two hit it off immediately and have since grown so close. They have been on multiple trips together and always enjoy having wine nights. 

It is said that their favorite thing to do together is watch Ty and Travis get competitive on double dates and laugh when one of them gets continuously butthurt (Travis). 

Felicia is a former teacher, making her one of the most easy going and patient people EVER! Her kindness is contagious and her crafting is unmatched.

Boo is another one of Ty's cousins. He resides in Houston, Texas with his wife and four children. As you can probably tell by his photo, if Boo could fish 24/7, he would. The best part, is that his wife also enjoys it just as much! 

Growing up, Ty spent a lot of time at Boo's house playing basketball, video games, and riding bikes around the neighborhood. Boo has always been a family oriented person and gets along with pretty much anyone. Much like AJ, he is a big ol' teddy bear! 

Sindi is Tanner's wife of eleven years. She has developed such a close, sister-like, relationship with Kendall over the last six years. They have really bonded over how to manage a relationship with a Credeur! (LOL)

Sindi takes great pride in being a mother of three, but aside from that she is a great friend and person to console in. She is very quiet when you first meet her, but when the party gets  going, she knows how to let her hair down and have a good time. 

Being from El Salvador, Sindi is also an amazing cook! Ty always requests her homemade tamales for his birthday as they are unmatched.

The Day Before

On Friday, March 14th, we will be hosting a Welcome Party! We want to utilize the weekend to spend as much time with you as possible. Please join us at the Herndon residence by 6:00pm for live music, food, and a good time! Address: 8709 Harbor View Dr. Orlando, FL 32817Time: 6pm-10pmAttire: Casual

The evening will begin promptly at 5pm. Please arrive to the venue a bit early to grab some drinks and sign the guestbook. We can't way to spend this day with you!

The After Party

We are required to leave the Wedding venue by 10pm, but the party doesn't stop there! We hope you decide to continue to fun with us by joining us downtown.

The Day After

We know many of you will likely be traveling home on Sunday and we do plan to say our "see you soons" but we would like to take this day to spend extra special time with our grandparents while we have them all together. We will catch you before or after this outing to hug you all!

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest airport to Downtown Orlando. Uber/Lyft options are always readily available.

Residence Inn is located in Downtown Orlando and actually shares a parking lot with Ty and Kendalls apartment building. It is also very close to the wedding venue. Additionally, there are many dining options in this area and it is right next to the interstate, making it easy to travel anywhere when needed. There is a room block reserved for our guests, so please book under Herndon Credeur Wedding to receive the discounted rate. Please note that this hotel only has 1 King Bed rooms available. If you need additional beds, we encourage you to view alternative hotels. The cut off date for reservations at the discounted rate is February 27, 2025.

Food

The best enchiladas hands down! They have a great atmosphere, amazing menu, and even better location. This restaurant is located in ICON Park, where all of the action happens on the weekends. If you are staying in the International Drive area, this place is highly recommended.

Kavas Tacos + Tequila

A Herndon family staple: Kobe! This place is where the Herndon family spend pretty much every birthday. Ty has also grown to love this place. There is something so fun about your dinner being cooked in front of you and the staff are always entertaining. Be sure to make a reservation in advance if going with a larger group.

Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Alafaya

A more lowkey take on hibachi, but defintely one of our favorite spots! This restaurant is actually walking distance from our apartment complex and we got quite often. If you go, treat yourself to a sake-tini!

Kendall's favorite restaurant in town! Sixty Vines is known for having 60 wines on tap and amazing artisan style food. The crispy zucchini is always a crowd pleaser (yes, even Ty enjoys it). This whole area of Winter Park if packed with great restaurants and shopping opportunities. We highly recommend!

Bowling has become one of our favorite dates! Aloma Bowl is a local alley that has been a go-to for Friday night with friends. Enjoy karaoke, cosmic bowling, and great pricing on food and drinks.

Disney Springs is a great place to shop, grab lunch, and offers plenty of entertainment for kids. There is also a bowling alley and movie theater! We recommend taking the kids to Rainforest or T-Rex Cafe. If you are kidless for the weekend, we personally love Raglan Road Irish Pub!

If you are staying near the many attractions that Orlando has to offer, make sure you visit I-Drive. Multiple restaurant options and activities for all. Fun Fact: During Ty's first time visiting Orlando, Kendall made him get on the StarFlyer. Google it.

ICON Park

Sundays are well spent at the Orlando Farmers Market at Lake Eola! Kendall and Bridesmaid Alexis, used to spend many Sundays at Lake Eola enjoying great food and music. We highly recommend getting an Arepa from Gran Arepa and walking around the lake. The Stubborn Mule is also a great place to grab brunch if you are looking for a restaurant in that area. Be sure to make a reservation beforehand if you can!

Orlando Farmers' Market

If you are an avid shopper like Kendall, and you also enjoy a great deal, then the Premium Outlets may be for you! Lots of big brand stores with great prices. It is all outdoors, so dress comfortably!

Park Ave in the city of Winter Park is a great option for a relaxing shopping day or if you are wanting to visit a smaller city in Central Florida. Winter Park is known for having great food options as well. If you are like Kendall, and planning for the weekend in advance, we encourage you to see if there are any art sales or markets happening in Winter Park!

Park Avenue

Pour Choice is a great place for a chill outing with your friends, or if you are just looking broaden you beer spectrum. They have rotating taps that you can sample and plenty of entertainment from sporting events on the TV's, board games, and beer pong.

Another great family spot. Lots of entertainment options for both adults and children. If you are one of our family members coming in from Louisiana and want to feel right at home, then stopping at Fat Tuesdays for a daiquiri is a must!

Universal CityWalk Orlando

Shocker right? Though we do not go to the parks often, Universal Studios is the go-to during this time of year. If you plan to go to a theme park while you are in town, this would be a great recommendation, due to the entertainment options that are both adult and kid friendly. Mardi Gras parades and concerts are popping, so plan accordingly!

Universal Studios Florida

Again, if you are looking into theme parks and enjoy being in the water, we highly recommend Volcano Bay. This is probably the only theme park that we could go to every weekend. If this is up your alley, we recommend booking rooms at Cabana Bay. This is the resort connected to the park and you may be able to find park discounts and early access opportunities.
