Six years ago and 7,000 miles away, a budding relationship started to take hold of our hearts. We couldn't fathom then what it would lead to today.

To work around school policy on dating, we stared writing letters to each other. There's a few hundred letters between the two of us by the end of high school.

Graduation came and we hightailed it out of Saipan on the same flight, right by each other's side. A first date of un-paralleled altitude is what we called it.

God's plan set us apart in our college years, challenging us to have faith in His guidance and path.

We had to spend many holidays apart, with nothing more than promises of a better next one and faith in the inevitable future of God's design.

We made time to visit every chance we get. 700 miles each way, ten days at a time, we'd fall for each other again and again. It was apparent that each goodbye got a bit harder.

Then someone finally grew a pair and asked her if she will make him the happiest man ever, (and to never say see you in a few months again).

The sleepless nights, hours of calls, and miles of highways seems all so worth it today.
