Our Wedding

We met the way all epic love stories begin—stretching on the floor at CrossFit. Well, sort of. I wasn’t wearing my glasses (pre-LASIK days), so I couldn’t quite see him. I cracked a joke, and he laughed. I looked up to see who it was, but apparently my squinty glance came across more like a death glare. He thought I was intimidating—I was just blind. A few weeks later, fate sat us next to each other at a Friendsgiving dinner. We played games, laughed a lot, and by the end of the night, we had roped him in to join our crew the next day for a ski trip. That was the start of an adventure-filled friendship. We became best friends, snowboarding whenever we could. By spring, we’d reached the natural next step in any budding friendship: co-parenting a flock of chickens. We built and re-built 3 or 4 chicken coops, eventually landing on a palace for 20. Building that chicken coop taught us a lot about trust, communication, and how to handle shared responsibilities. Through the endless coop building, we discovered we made a pretty great team. Then summer came, and with it, motorcycles and mountain rides. Somewhere between the snowy slopes, chicken rearing, and winding roads, our friendship grew into so much more. He proposed right where it all began—surrounded by our girls, in the coop we built together. And now here we are, about to build the rest of our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Sarah has been Tye’s ride-or-die since the third grade. From the very beginning, Sarah welcomed Tye’s bold, larger-than-life personality with open arms and a whole lot of grace. Their bond is the kind of rare, unwavering friendship every woman hopes to have—built on laughter, loyalty, and countless shared memories. No matter the time, distance, or life’s curveballs, their connection has only grown stronger. Tye couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her best friend by her side.

Sarah Chandler

Michael is Jeremey’s youngest brother—but you’d be forgiven for thinking they’re twins born a decade apart! As a freckled, red-haired kid, he quickly earned the nickname “Fred,” and it’s stuck ever since. Despite the age gap, Jeremey and Fred have always shared a uniquely close bond. What started as diaper changes and hockey lessons turned into a lifelong friendship built on mutual admiration. Over the years, Jeremey went from being Fred’s big brother to being his biggest fan—and now considers him not just family, but one of his best friends.

Michael “Fred” Ellis

Katrina is technically Jeremey’s younger cousin, but you wouldn’t be wrong if you’ve heard him call her his sister now and then—whether it slips out or he says it on purpose. They were always close growing up, but over the years, their bond has only gotten stronger as they’ve gone through life’s highs and lows together.

Katrina has been one of Jeremey’s biggest cheerleaders—not just as family, but as one of his best and closest friends. She’s been there to celebrate his biggest wins, and just as importantly, she’s been there to cry with him and help him through some of the hardest times in his life (all while juggling being a mom, a wife, a volunteer, and managing a busy, successful career).

Katrina Ross

Jake is my big brother and only sibling. He is three years older than me and has always been a mix of mischief and heart. Growing up, he kept our parents so busy (read: on their toes 24/7) that I managed to get away with way more than I probably should have—and I’m forever grateful for that strategic distraction.
Beyond the chaos, he’s also been my lifelong protector, loudest cheerleader, and best friend. Having him as one of my bridesmaids just makes sense—he’s been by my side through everything, and I wouldn’t want to walk into this next chapter without him.
